Gold? (meh) Not necessarily introspective but I'd also throw Phermone, The Undertaker & a live version of Adore (SF Fillmore from 04 off the top of my head)
Fingers crossed theres some additional aftershow footage from the Camden 88 aftershow floating around, any footage from this era would blow minds. Will we hear/see The Rebels recordings & other side projects as well? The possibilities are staggering. [Edited 1/10/19 14:27pm] [Edited 1/10/19 14:28pm] [Edited 1/10/19 14:44pm]

The Undertaker - about gun violence, violence on TV, and Crack Cocaine leading to an early death: * Put away the guns for future's sake * Turn off the violence, there's children watching * Don't go with the crack * Nothing at all to do with profiting from a celebrity's death...

Can't wait to see it and here for the comments to the reaction of this documentary. I am kind of skeptical because Ava does those Woke projects and Prince was more transcend but I will see what she got for us to see.

An Undertaker (ing) Company is a business.. Just Google it and see what comes up

Right, but I think Prince's use of the word Undertaker in the song lyric is relating to the guns and drugs "taking you under" - as in putting you "six feet under", or causing your early death. He was the master of spinning words or using word-play to create a certain message within his lyrics.

Update from Ava: "Sure. I’m still in the vault. He was a true genius and there is sooooo much to look at and listen to to even BEGIN to TRY to understand a FRACTION of who he was. Truly remarkable. Honored to work on this story. Every day working on this is a joy."

Sounds to me like ava is trying to do something similar to The Beatles' "Anthology" series. In which case I hope Warners or whoever is in charge of the music releases accompaniment compilations that have vault material shown in the doc until then i'll pretend this fuchsia light is god...

We all need one another. ~ PRN

This looks pretty awesome. Prince filmed or / documented pretty much everything from what I understand. Should be really really interesting. I assume people will find something to get riled up about, but hey, that's people. I for one am looking forward to it. Bob... Ain't dat a bitch?

If the estate , family, record companies etc had ANY sense / commecial awareness then they would/should release a compilation CD with all vault tracks used....but we know it's all run by dicks so errr ya know how this will pan out....!

Netflix & Ava usually have movie theater early viewing premiere showings. Which I'm sure will be ULTRA private screenings that I'll be attending. So I can give a early review here.

Out of curiosity, what's the hardline stance against streaming all about? Seems better than getting ripped off for cable and I'm not sure I see a moeal quandry here.
