The only one I've seen the least is "The Holy River". I remember the others everywhere on TV video channels. I was disappointed with "Somebody's Somebody" because there's so much collage video in it, whereas the others are fleshed out and contained to themselves. I always thought "Betcha" and "Holy" were beautiful imagery. There was a lot (maybe not sufficient though) promo for Emancipation. A decent handful of videos, although there was another almost half dozen that could have been made and promoted.

When I watched "Betcha" earlier, I felt sad (more than seeing the surreal image of Prince in a casket in "Face Down"). He was putting up such a front and Amiir was already gone or about to be. Mayte wrote about it in her book, and just how horrible she felt from losing a child and being mad at Prince for putting up a façade of "everything is okay". I know he was in survival mode probably, but still. It's a weird surreal, ethereal time in his life and career.

There are now 80 official Prince videos on YouTube right now. I would suspect that somebody at the estate would soon get these pressed into a nice package (a DVD, along with some surprise gems) and take my money!

But one of the other videos released over the summer is censored (presumably by WBR or the estate, not YT). I can’t remember right off which one, but it bugged me when I heard it.

Mmmh... Most likely censored in the original file for TV and uploaded as such, not censored retroactively for the upload.

Was it Sexy MF? That's the only one I can think of where profanity was censored back then.
