C-Note I've only just finished listening to this Live Album and I'm really surprised by how much I really enjoyed listening to it, It's a really great listen and I forgot how much the One Night Alone tour might be Prince's greatest tour, I understand that the performances on the Album are from soundchecks and most of them are instrumental with very little vocals by Prince but it honestly doesn't matter.
My favorite tracks being "Nagoya." and "Empty Room."
What's everyones opinion on this Live Album?

[color=blue] I love these sound checks! I always saw this as the one night alone live sound check album, with Days of a Wild (Montreal) as the encore. That is also a pretty wicked version of Empty Room.i have really fond memories of waiting at an Internet cafe (remember them lol) to download these tracks when they dropped unexpectedly, putting in the names of different cities where the tour played and seeing if there was any more. 😀 Worth noting is that there is a slightly longer version of Copenhagen that was given to Danish fans that includes a bit more of Jeanne Pierre [\color] [Edited 11/18/18 22:50pm]

I still play this quite a bit. I feel like we wouldn't have got this release if club members hadn't moaned about not receiving what they were promised - hence the title. Like 'Here's your $100 dollars worth bitches'

I listen to C-Note a LOT. It's one of my favorites if I have some heavy writing to do at work - along with N.E.W.S We don’t mourn artists because we knew them. We mourn them because they helped us know ourselves.

I love it but I think it has structural problems. Nothing wrong with the music itself, it's all great, just the album's structure. . The 2 uptempo jams then the 2 downtempo jams then the "WTF is this doing here?" power ballad with vocals... IDK, I don't think it flows well, I suspect it could have worked much better as an album if it had been balanced by a few additional tracks from those ONA soundchecks. . But if someone sees something I've missed (beyond the title's pun that was only possible with those tracks), I'm open to creative thinking . It also should be noted that cover art clearly credits the record to "The New Power Gnereation", not "Prince" or "Prince And The New Power Generation". However both online platforms and Princevault chose to ignore this A COMPREHENSIVE PRINCE DISCOGRAPHY (work in progress ^^): https://sites.google.com/...scography/

Yeah... the structure and flow doesn't mix well and I'm guessing this is the last N.P.G album, that's cool?

Damn, well I'm kinda glad in a-way as I really enjoy the project and I guess that's also the inspiration for the album cover as well. Sham people didn't get what they wanted.
