As you may know, Sheena Easton was a very talented singer and a very successful recording artist on her own before she worked with Prince. Right away, this distinguishes her completely from the Vanitys, Jill Joneses, Appollonias, etc., of the Prince world.
There is absolutely no reason to think that Prince and Sheena had any kind of special relationship, unless one of them said so.
I already specified in that post that I wasn't specifically referring to Sheena Easton. There was no need for you to point out that she was different to the likes of Vanity, Jill Jones etc.
In Sheena Easton's specific case, I don't know if they had an affair or not but I wouldn't automatically assume that they didn't just because she said they didn't. Especially when it would look bad for her if it came to light that her interest in her was "mainly a physical thing". In the end, it doesn't really matter one way or another and I couldn't care less if they had an affair. Their private lives don't affect my private life. All I'm saying is that there are a lot of differing opinions on what Prince was like in real life, away from the media spotlight, and I personally prefer to think of him as a sexual deviant. So I just assume that if he's working with a nice young woman, he's tickling more than just the ivories, if you know what I mean. Because in a lot of cases, we know for a fact that he was.

He took great care to create his look and image that he wanted for each record and/or time period. He was also purposely androgynous and hyper sexual. This was all his marketing expertise. I also read in one of the Biographies that just before Madonna became well known (1983-84) Prince was talking to someone in his camp, and he said, "if a woman comes on the scene and does what I'm doing she is going to be huge". So, it seems he forecasted her success. Madonna was really just the female version of Prince. He was doing it long before she came onto the scene.
