Well, damn, I was there. I remember that show and that aftershow. In fact, my wife and I almost left the club after the first guy who sat in with the bad performed. It was late, we had traveled 3.5 hours from Mississippi to Birmingham for the show, and we were tried. But, for some reason, we just stayed, and, before you know it, Prince is on stage. Not much else to say other than the NPG was on fire at the club, just like they were at the concert.
