Random Prince Songs Just Play In My Head This is the only place I can say this because I know good and damn well, some of y'all know exactly what I'm dealing with. I was just brushing my teeth and I swear I could hear "The Ballad of Dorthy Parker" in my head. Yet, I have not actually listened to that song in I can't even remember when. I knew from the start that I loved you with all my heart. | |

while i was cooking dinner last night i thought i heard a prince song. stopped what i was doing and there was no song playing. it was probably just some random tv commercial.  I will take my place, In the great below | |

Maybe it is just me. All I know is I'm quite lucid and random Prince songs just play in my head. 
Yeah this happens to me too with songs (not just Prince songs, although today I did have WDC playing in my head for a considerable time). It can sometimes be triggered by a word, like if someone says “Head”, Head will start playing in my head. It only stops really when I’m listening to music or when I’m sleeping. | |

Don't you love when that happens?? It happens to me when I over-listen for a few days at work. I often consume entire albums at a time while doing huge layout projects (publishing, I'm a writer). Then I'll wake up on Saturday with a song playing in my head. Two summers ago I fell madly in love with Curious Child/Dreamin' About U and then went on a motorcycle trip. Didn't even need bluetooth, I could *hear* Curious Child playing in my helmet.  And the MUSIC continues...forever... | |
