That's what I tried saying in Post 2. I think they are Bible Verses, too.

11:59:50 - isn't that usually the time when they start counting down to the New Year? You know, 10, 9, 8, 7... [Edited 7/20/18 23:42pm]

Now, I wonder (due to the pictures) what his fascination with moons was about. Even references a full moon in June. Well, at least he was not a flat earther type. LOL.

I don’t know that it means anything other than a new year is coming. Very paradoxical for a guy who didn’t observe time. He also posted something on his Twitter or IG when the new year came about it being 2016. Maybe he was wanting to start fresh. We do that, although the time between 11:59pm on Dec 31 and 12:01am on Jan 1 is only just a second...it’s unusual to be able to change that fast.

. No, the sleeve CLEARLY says "50". And the front likely says so as well, except you only see half of the "0" because there is a crease hiding the other half. . It makes very little sense to make different templates; it makes lots of sense they made a single template and used that on several places on the shirt. © Bart Van Hemelen

Here, the cover of the single '1999' - a song referencing the end time - had a moon lit sky in the window on his left and a day in the window on his right, with Prince in between the two, probably representing the dawn (a spiritual symbol for hope, new beginnings, and awakening) regularly mentioned by Prince. 2 Peter 1:19 'So we have the prophetic word made more sure, to which you do well to pay attention as to a lamp shining in a dark place, until the day dawns and the morning star arises in your hearts.' But.... the "1" in the 1999 on the album is also shaped like a penis, so.... * Some things he did were connected to beliefs or feelings, and others just for the heck of it, or becuase he liked the "look" of something. Many speculated the ear cuffs that he wore symbolized something, and now we know that Steve Parke wore them, and Prince liked the way they looked, so he had his own designed for him. Also, the "3121" shirt and album were based on the home he rented in LA. I'm sure he picked the home based on the numbers adding up to 7, but nonetheless, the numbers were connected to the rental home that his assistant found online.

This reminds me - there was a widely-circulated media report just before ATWIAD was released that Prince's next film (after PR) would be called "Prince of the Darkness and the Morning Star".

Sounds like tabloid "gossip" back then, or possibly a purposeful "leak" from his camp in order to create mystery and keep people guessing. Just like when he was asked what his plans were at the end of the PR tour he stated, "I'm looking for the ladder", and "sometimes it snows in July". Of course, these were references to two new songs, but it was cryptic speak to everyone else at that point.

Nah...that's just the year 1999 - number 9's - nothing to do with Satan. * Yes, he was under contract with WB then, but was very happy with them at the time, and was about to be catapulted into super-stardom with Purple Rain the following year.

Prince constantly struggled with sex and religion througout his career. And yes, when he converted to JW he did stop cursing and performing the more blatantly sexual/vulgar songs like Head and Sister. However, he did perform Darling Nikki during shows all the way up to 2011, and then clips of the song through 2016. He had also stated in many interviews that his lyrics back then were much "cleaner" and more tame then the current music. Of course, back then his music was actually sensored, so things become more acceptable as time progresses. * While Prince's music in later years did at certain times focus more heavily on his religious beliefs, he was still writing plenty about love and sex - just in a more cryptic way - a la the song "Elixir". * Most people - performers or anyone - don't think or speak the same way as they grow older. It's the natural aging process and maturity. It happens to everyone. Prince also stated this during those later interviews - that he was older, and had matured from that time period.

precioux said: You do realize that Prince did die 'under the (cherry) Pink Moon'? Not a joke-look it up. 'April 21-22, 2016' . I know Lemoncrush wasn't insinuating that, but it is what it is.
Yes, and the empty stage silhouetted against the full moon is interesting, as is the light shining out from beneath his white moon shirt! IMO, it's a message.

Well, if you believe that he knew when he would die (at least the month/day), then it is also quite coincidental/amazing that he wrote and recorded "Sometimes It Snows In April" on April 21st, 1985.
