well ... those pics were re-posts from fb-groups, posted there by different members without any credits (like all the pics I posted today and most of the pics I ever posted btw) ... mission impossible to ask the "owner" for permission ... maybe he shouldn't post them himself publicly without watermark if credits are that important to him cuz ... people don't want to do wrong, they just don't have any chance to know ... wildsign

Whatever they ask be removed from here shall be removed. Like per my orgnote to you. Have an issue, use orgnotes..............

Does member accgoo give credit to the photographer? Photographer are the only ones who can ask for credits. Not someone with a tumbler or whatever account who most of the time don’t mention the name of the photographer

I see several photos that aren’t original but altered. Did you get permission for that? And where did you get the SOTT photo from Utrecht (on your first page)? I have never found the photos from that photographer online or at an agency so I’m curious about where you got them.
And since I never bought anything from an agency I would like to know what you pay for a photo. (I would like a couple of photos on my wall, not for publishing)

And what price do Afshin Shahidi and Allen Beaulieu ask? (I know that Allen asked 1200USd years ago but his website hasn’t been updated for years.) Their photos aren’t at any agency afaik.

I have just posted a couple of pics with sources to mainstream media or to a photographers website that you can find on all kind of social media sites. And that is where the people get the photos they post on the org from. I think it is a bit childish of some other members to ask for credit when they found it themself online too.

I agree. The photographers rightfully should be credited wherever possible, but so many of these photos everyone already posted on instagram, pinterest, with no information. I credit photographers photos from their photographers sites but if there is no trace of information for lack of watermark etc, and being shared across the internet then not sure how else one would know. I think if these orgers are concerned that their legitimately owned photos are being shared without credit, they should place a (c) watermark on them somehow to ensure credit isnt missed where it is truly due. wink
