Right - it's typical tabloid and gossip fodder, and also digging up a very old story from the lawsuit by Charlene Friend in the early 2000's. From what I remember reading in the investigative report, they found nothing that would relate directly to their investigation with regard to his death. However, that may not mean that other things such as porn sites/videos were not found. Most men view porn and engage in these sorts of activities. Not a shocker....

Really? If some of it was in the vault, like they said, the video's wouldn't be on the net.
Who leaked the info and why now?

Charlene Friend, hasn't been much of a friend to him. She was also saying that Prince was on 'coke'. I don't put much stock into her stories.

WhiteDude - this is a VERY old story. Charlene Friend, former "girlfriend" (ie: one of many women he enjoyed screwing from time to time) of Prince WAY back in the late 80's/early 90's was trying to sell some of his property online back in the early 2000's (2003-4 maybe?) Prince sued her, and I believe she counter-sued making the statements bolded in red on this thread. The case went to trial, and was dismissed based on lack of evidence. Interestingly though, in 2005 Prince had his Galpin Ave home torn down, which he had built in 1986, and resided in off and on up until that point. Always thought that was a strange decision, because he did not rebuild there, but could be various reasons for that choice.

PennyP - c'mon....Prince was quite a smart man. In no way would I ever believe he would place personal sex tapes in the PP Vault. He would not be that dense. He was not the only one who had access to that Vault. If he kept any personal or intimate footage it would have most likely been kept at his personal residence on Galpin Ave - not at PP.

He was the only one with the code to the vault, he lived at PP for years.

Wrong - several of his Engineers were given access to the PP Vault at various times throughout the years. Hans Martin Buff had extensive access during the time that he was going back and pulling tapes for the Crystal Ball album. Prince had an "apartment" at PP where he woudl occastionally stay, but with the exception of the last few years, he did NOT live at PP. He resided in his Galpin Ave home from 1986 until 2005 when he had it torn down. He also owned a home in Canada and resided in homes in LA during the 2000's.

Some things to consider about this "story" :
1. This is a story coming from "Radar Online" - not exactly known for their journalistic integrity. 2. Who is their "source" ?? Probably no one - just a bogus line to get a "story" out there. 3. What tapes are you actually looking at in that picture? Do you know?

Who leaked the story and why now? Years ago peeps might have had access to the vault, that doesn't mean they had full access to anything they wanted. Prince is the only one who had the code. Don't try to pull the wool over our eyes, hell they had to drill the damn thing open.

well according to the story the source was allegedly someone privy to the investigation who saw these materials as part of it. The story uses the word "vault" in lowercase (i.e., perhaps not the literal room called The Vault), and says some of the materials was found on "computers seized" as part of the investigation. But again: This is a tabloid, owned by American Media (same as National Enquirer). So who knows. - That being said: Prince was a freak! I'm sure he put his imagination to good use with various willing partners over the years.

hahaha hilarious -- one random tabloid story about (clutch your pearls, everyone!) a legal porn stash is going to "overshadow his birthday," with the same impact as the investigation files? First, only hard-core fans care about his birthday anyway. And second, random shit gets published on obscure blogs, shady tabloids, weird facebook groups, etc regularly. No one cares.

Exactly, radar online is the same article that posted that prince had a heart murmur and that he had aids and his skin was falling off from his face. The same website that stated that prince called jerome and asked him to play sometimes it snows in April for his funeral. NEXT! Radar online is not reliable

When the files where released there was only ONE news outlet that wrote about the Celebration (at least here in germany), the rest talked about the death Pictures and even printed them for everyone to see. Did the people here on the forum talk about the Celebration or about These files? So, I already know what I'm going to see at the news tomorrow, I don't even have to Look at magazines to see it.

I don't think Prince's divorce from Manuela had anything to do with him tearing down that home. He first lived there with Susannah Melvoin in '86 - they planned and built that house together. Then, Mayte moved in after they were married. He lived there all the years in between the two relationships, so there should not be any significance to Manuela also living there.
CJ: Prince demolishes his Chanhassen [Galpin Blvd] house Date: 2005-11-07 Source: http://www.startribune.co...13734.html Prince demolishes his Chanhassen house C.J., Star Tribune Last update: November 7, 2005 at 9:29 PM Prince has demolished his primary residence in Chanhassen. "I know somebody obtained a demolition permit," Chanhassen building official Steve Torell said Monday. "I saw [the house] earlier last week. I wasn't here Friday, so I don't know if it's down or not, yet. It is tough to see back there." Sunday I could not see the house but did notice construction vehicles on the property. I went to check it out after receiving this anonymous e-mail on Saturday: "What purple wonder multimillionaire is destroying his current home to build a new house. What purple wonder decided to fire his entire security staff (due to the construction) with no notice and paid not one thin dime of severance, as we enter the holidays!" The e-mail claims some of those fired have worked for Prince for 20 years. That's hard to believe, because he doesn't keep people around that long. Another claim is not borne out by city records. Torell said no permit had been taken out to build another home there. In spring 2003, Prince demolished another Chanhassen property, the famous Purple House on Lake Riley, where he once lived and where his father, John L. Nelson, lived out his final days. The demolition of the primary residence is probably not that unexpected, given how fast Chanhassen is growing. Where once there was no development near the property, Prince can run across more neighbors and lots more traffic between there and Paisley Park, which is still standing.

Right...or how about the lyrics to 18 & Over, Pheromone (especially that one!), 319.....and more. Also, under the Thank You's for the Love Symbol album he has "Voyeurism" and "Nancy C Sex" listed
*
Even in the unreleased song "The Sex Of It", he sings "don't open that window!" and "Get away from that cage.....oh girl!"
*
It was all in his lyrics.....handcuffs, voyeurism, cages, 23 positions....etc
