That one Prince song... πŸ’œπŸŽΌπŸ•ŠοΈ

Name that one Prince song that pulled you through some of the most difficult times in your life.
You don't have to explain why, just the title will do.

I'll start: 'Somewhere Here On Earth'.

Your turn...

the only love there is is the love we make heart

Goodbye in '96

Walking alone in the dark, I see nothing u see
I can be in a park, or flying in the…in the deep sea
I wish u’d hold my hand; then everything could b
There’s nothing strange, we’re not deranged
We only want everyday 2 b a Cosmic Day

For me, it was more that I was so excited that someone like Prince was out there putting out this great music than I felt especially helped by one song to get through a rough period. I always was thrilled about Prince through the 80s but he touched my soul with Condition of the Heart and Sometimes It Snows in April. Up until then, I loved his music but these songs expressed so much vulnerability in such a creative way that they help me feel so personally bonded with him and less alone in the world. So, for the purpose of this thread I would say Condition of the Heart given that it was the first one.

Gold. First time hearing it on radio back when it was released, went from being cold and empty to warm and fuzzy inside. Then hearing the full album version eek
This is what it's like in the dream factory...

It was not a specific Prince song per say. It was Prince himself.
