see i'm one of those people who don't mind a bit of tape noise on there. it makes the songs
feel more 'of their time' to me than have them polished too brightly.

having said that, i'd also buy crystal clear newly remastered from multitrack versions in the
future. but for now, this is ok.

I am sure it means nothing but Amazon and the metadata from the MP3 I bought off Amazon give an album title as "Nothing Compares 2 U." I assume that is just the default but one can hope!

So far the only place that is selling the 7" by itself and not the bundle packs like on the estate website is ELECTRIC FETUS...

Hope so. When I saw the video on youtube I thought for sure I would google Prince and find an album announcement.

It is a different mix than the leak. The press release details the making of a new mix from the master tape, and also, the second sax track is missing, during the final section of the solo.

seems odd they would just release this as a stand alone single. Hopefully we get more soon.

And why no B Side, surely they could have included something else even if it was say something like Electric Intercourse or Fathers Song.

I would not be surprised if when the single is formally released that it may come with an album announcement.

I'm not an audiophile so I don't really mind either, but that hiss really is loud, though. I've just listened to The Family album this morning, and it sounds so much better
