The love of Princes life is music and writing

Writing can be a spiritual experience and when ur in the zone it transports you and music transcends all boundaries in the world. Although Prince was inspired by people and events his true love was music and writing. He developed his spiritual connection through this medium. This is only my perspective just wanted to share it.

It seems to me that his love for God was first and his love for music, writing came second. Most of his women have all said that he put music before them though and I suppose they had to accept that while they were in the relationship.

Performing was up there too. He was always touring or performing surprise gigs. I don't believe he would've been happy only writing and making music. He had to bring it to life by performance. But, yeah, music was his first (maybe only) true love, IMO.

I agree. He even performed during his honeymoon with Mayte. Kim Berry said that they were on a plane once and he was writing something in a notebook and she asked him what he was doing and he replied that he was writing a new song. She said that she asked him if he ever wanted to just take a vacation for a while and that he told her he couldn't and that when he finished writing one song, ideas for another came to him and that it was like a blessing and a curse.

I agree with you. His love for God was first in his life. What I am saying is that his writing was more about accessing his spirituality and his connection to God. It was his pathway sort of speak. That's why he couldn't stop writing because it was his continued spiritual development. I hope that makes sense..bit deep.

His relationship with music never failed him, that's for sure! It may have driven him crazy to have all those songs constantly churning in his head, but he sure made the most of it and left us one hell of a catalogue to enjoy!

I totally agree. Always felt that his music and performing were the most constant things in his life that never let him down and could turn to in times of disappointment. The icing on the cake is the joy for us fans hearing it and watching him perform. Hope he knows how much we all loved and adored him. music
