maybe Prince never got to play Dungeons and Dragons in High School and started playing
with friends as an adult and it worked its way into his music. there are tons of legit
reasons all this could be innocently comingled. |

LOL - how would you respond to something like that? His response merely shows that he is not even going to consider that as a serious question and finds it hilarious and responded in a porky pig kind of way when the cartoon would end and porky would say, "That's all folks!" Kirky J wasn't taking part in the interview and just sitting back and taking it all in. There was nothing wrong with his body language, except that it seemed to be saying, "I really don't want to be here right now."

i agree that he finally realized that he was enslaved by the music industry master. i didn't quite
like how he wanted to distance his African American roots in the beginning about his ethnic
background but then wanted to use slave and its "attention getting power" if you can call it that and put SLAVE on his face.

and in fairness to Prince perhaps that is the awkwardness i sense from Prince as well is that he really didn't want to be in
that interview to begin with. |

Any spiritual concepts that are not Christian, even beliefs or ideas derived from Hinduism, Buddhism and other Eastern traditions are all being conflated with 'Satanism' here.
One of the hallmarks of mystic or gnostic spirituality of various kinds is the uniting or reconciliation of (apparent) opposites - male and female, the sacred and the profane, light and dark, black and white, good and evil... If you fail to discern Prince's attempt to transcend dualities you are missing the underlying theme of much of his work and iconography. [Edited 3/7/18 11:25am]
