IKR? To be fair they did mention Queen's Rhapsody so there's that, of course I still don't get how it fit in with what they were talking about concerning Prince. I wish I was warned these are Illuminati believing folks from the beginning, I blame y'all..

The funny thing is in a time with so many trolls you would be hard pressed to find a negative comment about this video so that means the author of that youtube channel is going out of his way to delete the negative comments. lol

No, that's completely false. However, at the end of "Controversy" performed during the Controversy tour, Prince would extend his arms. One reviewer for a local newspaper or magazine stated that it appeared as if Prince was mimicking the crucifixion. In Dave Hill's Prince: A Pop Life, someone commented that Prince liked that description and continued to use the move/motion. This disproves the assertion on two points. One, clearly, Prince wasn't thinking about the crucifixion when he first did it. Two, it happened at the end of the concert and not the beginning. However, Prince did open the 1999 shows with "Controversy," but I don't remember if he made the same gesture with his arms outstretched like during the Controversy show.

Hear, hear!

As long as he's not ridiculed here...

Most people don't know their subject.
The world is filled with wannabe doctors.

The world is full of tourists who persuade themselves
knowledge is some vision they had while high,
brushing their teeth or whatever have you,
full of resentment and shame.

Even they don't care about their own shit,
it's all surface to avoid the fraud core.
They have the guts to display all their stupidity for the world to see,
you gotta give them credit. In truth, it's a call for help.

Hey man, show us your mountain top,
be cool, share a little, I wanna be enlightened too.
Unless you're not the christian type?
One point for equality: the woman proves
women can be as fucked in the head as your next Mary.
It's 2018 alright.

I can understand you can get scared by the song.
" prince " is a dark, roaring album.
Prince boasts about his renewed inspiration, and "7"
sounds like "The Cross" came back, all angry and vengeful.
This shit is cryptic. And deep. And kinda scary,
and very, very apocalyptic.

Years later, "7" would be defeated by "The Word" by forfeit
(axe indisputability in the last round), passing on the top position
in SKipper's hippie-rock gospels collection.

But getting scared of the song to the point of insanity,
man, woman, get a shrink. C'm'on let's do somethin'.

"Satan!"
Ha!
I can hear him crackin'up from here!

"Satan"... Really... Ow Lawd.
It ain't funny. Pissed!
I need soothing. I'm outta here.

Someone definitely took "Let's go crazy, let's get nuts" au pied de la lettre.

I watched it and "I couldn't believe my eyes, they had all this crazy shit and said things I couldn't describe, they said sign your name on the dotted line, I said hell naw!" (To be read to the beat of darling nikki)

.

First of all it is just two people Mr Yahu with the long beard and the woman who is either his wife, daughter, disciple. They dredged up songs with pre 1998 dates when Prince was at his most sexualised and I doubt either had heard any of his later pro God songs. Songs like the Holy River and Anna Stesia were never mentioned, but Darlin Nikki, Little Red Corvette and Partyman were? Imagine if they heard the Rainbow Children, love to see them find fault with that lol

.

The fact that they were using backmasking was the worst, that was a 1980s Tipper Gore/Peters brothers trick, and that video of the dude with the huge mullet going on about satanic metal music from 1989. It was so bad even my partner heard it and was giglling (I had the shit on in the background while I was working on one of my society newsletters, I am not giving my full attention to half baked nonsense theories about my favourite artist of all time). You knew it was crazy when they mentioned that Prince had a sugar cane and called Dirty Mind the most sick album ever and zeroed in on the incest lyrics of sister, then showed the cover of a Bootleg not Dirty Mind itself, the bootleg at least had Prince with his flasher mac on, him naked in bikini briefs would have made them have kittens.

.

There was more swooning and disgust over his sexualised lyrics than anything satanic, these people think that having sex is satanic. To be honesty if being satanic is that much fun - lots of sex and hedonism, maybe I should become one razz, it was like a group of fruit hatted women in full length dresses promenading at Gladiola's and Ethel's garden party at Cholmondeley house in 1903.

.

Complete and utter shit and I told them that, but I am keen to watch their episode on Earth Wind and Fire, where the Egyptian motifs on their records seems to piss them off and it even showed Michael Jackson in the ad. This shit sounds hilarious and fucked up. How come they haven't gone after the turbanned dude in Ohio Players, fr being unChristian. I feel sorry for the tolerant and loved Christians who have to deal with the fall out from extreme right wing and bizarre fundamentalist cults and wack jobs like these 2.

I have seen that video. I thought of posting it here, but I knew that it would not be received well. eek

.

It's no mystery that Prince's music was filled with subliminal and cryptic messages and his music was very sexually-explicit. Prince pushed androgyny as far as he could -- and he was misunderstood; people did not get who he was. Was he straight or gay? I think it was all just a part of his act.

.

Now, getting into the satantic stuff. The entire Purple Rain album is about worship and the occult. If you don't think so -- then, you are a foolish person.

.

Look at Prince's first album, and everything else he did thereafter. All the transformations -- alter ego's -- he even told Oprah that he had two people inside of him (his words).

.

A lot of his songs mock the Bible and God. Was it just his way of expressing himself? What it art?

.

He told people "You don't have to do the things I did." He had regrets.

.

I think he was manipulated by the music industry. You can see as he got older -- he moved away from all that, and he became just "Prince".

.

Then again -- do we really know who Prince was at all? I think he enjoyed being a mystery. nod

I agree with you on all points here.

I think the speakers on this youtube channel are Israelites and the lady who was speaking has another channel called BlackEducationTV. They are also against the Christian church system as a whole.

Sometimes the things they are exposing make sense while others can be debatable. The angle they have exposed here about Prince's lyrics (and hidden messages) is not that farfetched at all and in fact can be easily observed in many other lyrics that Prince wrote. For example the lyrics about 'a man' who 'Changed stone to bread with one touch of his hand' in 'For the Tears in Your Eyes' could not have been about Jesus, and based on the Bible, was probably more about Satan:

"Then Jesus was led up by the Spirit into the wilderness to be tempted by the devil. And when He had fasted forty days and forty nights, afterward He was hungry. Now when the tempter came to Him, he said, "If You are the Son of God, command that these stones become bread." But He answered and said, "It is written, 'Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceeds from the mouth of God"" (Matthew 4:1-4).

This is one of many examples which correlate with the point made in that video, which is that Prince could have deliberately tried to mislead believers into thinking he was pro-God, when in fact he worshipped Satan. It is a fact that Prince was always about 'a certain' spirituality so this theory is not improbable and might also explain the noticeable U-turn Prince took in the late 90's, along with his attempt to emancipate himself from his 'evil master'. It is very possible that he got involved in some unethical business prior to acquiring his celebrity status and his early music would certainly support that theory, especially Darling Nikki.

That said, the people in the video obviously did not follow the whole of Prince's career and they omit to analyse his later lyrics and what appeared as a more sincere spiritual period. But as you said, who knows who the real Prince truly was...

thanks. some people are willfully ignorant about prince and his work. they don't want to believe he was a devil worshipper or was deeply involved in the occult at least for part of, if not his whole life, so they pretend he didn't use subliminals and occultic material. that doesn't make it any less true. and I would bet that 99 percent of the people that worked with him did the same, even some of the "christian" ones. But i don't know it, it's just a bet I'd place.

Then again -- do we really know who Prince was at all? I think he enjoyed being a mystery. nod

People who want to believe in the occult and conspiracy theories will see them everywhere, same as those who see God in everything.

However, can one of you conspiracy theorists point out somewhere where Prince mocked God and the Bible, I find that one harder to swallow than anything else. Dude was ALL about love for God.

You cannot be a Prince fan and ignore all of that, because Prince himself WAS into all of these things and a lot of his music IS about these things.

As for the mocking, I don't think he ever mocked God openly, but he definitely sent out ambiguous (or conflicting) spiritual messages, which is equivalent to mocking God's message.

But then again, he might not have been talking about the same 'God' all along, who knows.
