Why are the NPG albums so sonically we’ll produced??? When the regular Prince albums of the same era aren’t?? Does anyone else agree with this? I know the Peach & Black podcast guys do... Also, according to Mr. Hayes, most of the songs were written and recorded in just a few days for both releases. Interestingly, Prince spent more time recording the comic vignettes than on the tunes, LOL!!!

It is a curiosity, yes...superceded in my world by the fact that I've lost my CD of Exodus! All I got is an empty CD case and no idea where the bloody thing is!
Tres frustrating. | |

Tres frustrating. I heard Gold Biggs had something to do with Levi mixing it. after reading Duane Tudahl's book...it is obvious Prince did not care about sound quality.
