Interesting cause personally I liked his more distressed look where his clothes were a bit hippie 70’s boho his hair was permed but disheveled kinda punk but Not entirely I like him in dirty more broken in attire. I don’t like him so clean that it looked like he would bathed everyday. I liked his real skin without makeup. I don’t Care for that other worldly clean kempt way that he was for the most part SOTT onward. So I like dirty prince. | |

He was still dirty Prince towards the end,he just toned it down some.I have to say I enjoy and listen to his newest albums more than the old ones so I guess I like the cleaner Prince more.But he had more hit songs when he was dirty Prince.But then you can argue that he would still have hits as clean Prince if he had stayed with WB | |

Look guys,believe me, I really like clean Prince too. It is just if I had to choose between Clean and Dirty songs, I would choose the dirty ones. . I actually like the fact, the speculations, gossip, bitchiness and endless book releases are dying down, we are returning to his musical legacy and threads like this, remind us of the fact this man was a genius.
