The end of 17 Days sounds natural to me, but I've never heard the long version before this leak. I'd like to know how it's been watermarked, can you explain?

I really don't understand why it is so hard to comprehend that these leaks are leaks by an elite collector trying to screw with Eye, and not rips from Eye's release. Clue: not all of the tracks are there.

I can't get over what a GREAT song "What If" is. This SOUNDS like it could be a big hit today. Why did he not release this song?

yeah i might have been mistaken about that, i'm not sure anymore. it's the dogwhistle
at 6:53 and 7:03. could be a watermark, could be in the original track.

That's not the way to do a watermark (unless you're stupid and want everybody to know).

The way the Elite traders used to do it when trading and wanting to track where it was and who did it if ever leaked was to invert the channels a few seconds somewhere. And keep a log of it. You would NEVER be able to hear it or find it yourself unless you knew exactly where it was. Been there, done that.

Reading through the BFTP 6 thread it sounds like Closer To God has much better sound quality.

Does everyone agree with this?

How about Cool Love specifically as an earlier post claims the 'monofied' version is the best so far?

I'm trying to consensus about what to track down/keep/throw away.......

It can show up as a tape imperfection, a drop out, a temporary change in EQ, a speed issue, etc.

I've been listening to "The Screams of Passion" about a million times in the last couple of days. Never listened to The Family much so that's basically like a new old Prince song for me.

I agree on New Position. I downloaded this just for it, ...and...I love Clare. but it's just not very good and doesn't fit at all. I don't think Prince needed to think twice on whether to use it or not.

It's absolutley brilliant and his version of "Nothing Compares 2 U" sounds like a smash in the 1985 anthemic afterglow of Purple Rain.
