I always thoght Bobbi Jo was a piano piece. Do I have different (bootleg) titles mixed up? When was this recorded? Sounds quite early. 83? The wooh is on the one!

It has a lot of sound effects from the Lovesexy/Madhouse era, so this is most likely the 1988 version.

Maybe. The keyboard (sound) reminds me of Grand Progression. The wooh is on the one!

There exists a short snippet (33 seconds!) of a solo piano version of The Dopamine Rush that was released on the Times Squared video promo kit back in 91. It's unknown whether it's Prince, Eric or even possibly Ricky playing, nor where this comes from. For some reason it isn't listed on Pvault. Bobbi Jo is sublime.... Don't hate your neighbors. Hate the media that tells you to hate your neighbors.

The piano version is from 1987, it's the demo with the same name.
Bobbi Jo is Prince alone with his guitar and some keyboard embellishments but without Eric Leeds overdubs, i love it ! this version is from 1988. Eric Leed took it to make Once Upon A Time in 1989.

Bobbi Jo leaked last year in september. The piano version leaked in 2015. "You can skate around the issue if you like,
But who's gonna get you high in the middle of the night?"

But who's gonna get you high in the middle of the night?"

It just sounds like an edit of the long stroke version. I don't hear anything different. AKA PDEXTER

So, two Bobbi Jo versions leaked today: 7:12 and (piano demo) 3:26. Then there's Once Upon A Time (Bobbi Jo) on BFTP 3.0 clocking in at 6:06, correct? "I like to watch."
- E-mail - orgNote - Report post to moderator |
The 6:06 must be the 1987 piano version that i already got. The 3:26 version is another piano take. "You can skate around the issue if you like,
But who's gonna get you high in the middle of the night?"
