Diazepam is also used as a muscle relaxer. Clonidine is also used for pain management. it is difficult for doctor and patient to work out a pain medication protocol that works that also doesn’t cause other adverse complications. Do you really think it is hard for a doctor to not realize that some of the meds working together are going to cause adverse reactions. How many pain relievers and aniexity meds does one person need at one time. Look some of these up they cannot be mixed with other drugs. I am on all them and a lot more. My choice at this moment in time is medication and risk adverse reactions. An operation that is highly likely to leave me paralysed needing round the clock care along with a life time of medications is something I am not willing to do. I know the risks. Doctors know the risks. Doctors prescribe these drugs in hope to give you a quality of life. Sometimes science gives us no option but to take medications that can cause other organ damage while trying to stop pain that’s intolerable.

I thought about that... Wasn't there another doctor (not the doctor's appt with whom he supposedly had that morning another one)? And, I wondered if they actually counted P in the count of 6.
Interesting question. DD55

I could be wrong... but the way I remember it....right before or right after he passed away, didn't the clerk at the pharmacy say he was picking up medications normally used to treat HIV/AIDS, then the story ...poof, just went away. Am I remembering that wrong?

No. | |

No, you are right, but it was a tabloid newspaper.
I don't know what difference it makes if he died from cancer or AIDS or overdose of pain meds?! At the end of the day, he had to take pain meds to the extent that his body couldn't take them anymore, probably causing several organ failures. He's been on medication for so long in order to do what he loved doing.
What bothers me most is the more details are revealed in the media, the more shit news will come out and everyone will change the narrative. There are certain things he didn't want to be known and this was his will. Isn't it ok to accept that?
I don't understand what comfort it gives to some folks if his name is in the headline with some shit news. I really don't understand. Can someone explain this to me?
Btw DD55 this is not directed to you. I just replied to your question. Prince I will always miss and love U.

Oz, I don’t think that people, here at least, necessarily want to ‘see his name in headlines’ saying anything the would reflect badly on him. I think it’s just the human condition to be curious and here we all are on prince.org, discussing P and his work— with this huge question mark above it all and hovering in the background…. so discussions sorta slide into the speculation territory. If no one cared, then no one would be here. Peace, DD55

I know but you see there are folks (fans) who'd rather prefer to see pictures of him dead in an elevator so that they can understand he is gone. Others not so much. This is the difference.
The reality is once any information about him is out there it's going to change his narrative. If he had cancer or AIDS people will have a different perception and to honest, it's nobody's business. I think he has told us everything, and I am not saying I am not interested in knowing the real cause of his death, but some on here come up with odd theories and force their perspectives onto others. The real shit stirrers.

In my heart I think P had cancer. Photos of the last four years of him in succession is all I need to see.

I recently read that they found not only fentanyl in the pill he took, but in at least one pill of all the medics they found. And that would be, if it's true, no coincidence.

I think Law Enforcement knows exactly if, and what disease he had. At this point if they are still investigating it, it's only to find out who is making and pushing the pills.

Because she couldn't know that he'd die on an overdose.

Please, everyone stay calm and rational, but perhaps out of wisdom/knowledge gained from her own battles with drug addiction she saw 2 years before his death that if he didn't get into locked-down treatment immediately..there was going to be an inevitable crash and burn two years down the road.
Want to know every little thing about drugs and what they do to your body? Ask a drug user. She knew. An I'm sure when she mentioned treatment (Like Prince had paid for for her...like any loving sister would have suggeted) he said ,'No way'...so that's why she was prepared for the call. It's never been mysterious to me.

Could be true, maybe that's why she won't get more specific, she could be afraid of the backlash if Fans knew that.
