Search warrants (facts and tidbits).

I wanted to disregard all of the tabloid information I've read and focus soley on the facts of each search warrant that was reviewed here. Of note, there are some things in these warrants that I was not aware of and found interesting. Some if not most of it, is already known here on the org. I will highlight the tidbits that I wasn't aware of until taking a closer look at the warrants. I wil post each in descending order as time permits.

September 19, 2016 warrant filed and issued.

1. This is the warrant for all data maintained by Google, Inc. for the Gmail account identified as Paislerparkafterdark@gmail.com. The facts tending to establish foregoing grounds for issuance are as followed.

Below are the finding from the "Affiant" , detective Christina Warner, of the Carver County Sherriff's office for 16 years.

a. On April 21, 2016 at 0943 hours , the Sheriffs deputies were dispatched to Paisley Park studios.

b. Prince Rogers Nelson was found in an elevator and not breathing.

c. Prince was unresponsive and pronounced deceased at the scene.

d. Witnesses at the scene that were interviewed stated that Prince recently had a history of going thru withdrawals which are believed to be the result of the abuse of prescription medication. ( I wasn't aware that someone in Prince's camp stated that).

e. The Affiant learned that Prince had "passed out" during a flight from Atlanta.

f. According to one of the witnesses interviewed, Prince admitted to taking 1-2 "pain pills" during this flight.

g. During the search of Prince's residence, detectives located numerous controlled substance pills in various containers and areas of Prince's bedroom, some of which was in a suitcase with the name tag of "Peter Bravestrong". Inside of the suitcase were several prescription bottles in the name of Kirk Johnson.

h. Prince had no prescriptions issued to him but Kirk Johnson had Oxycodone prescribed to him by Dr. Michael Schuelenberg on 4-14-2016 according to the Minnesota Prescription Monitoring Program.

i. On 4-26-16 Attorney Gary Hansen (who had been appointed to take care of Prince's affairs after death) provided consent for the Sherriff's office to take custody of a silver Apple laptop computer found in Prince's bedroom.

j. On Monday 5-19-2016 Sgt. Meir received a phone call from Dr. Quin Strobel(ME) on whch the results of Prince's toxicology screening showed Prince had a lethal dose of the narcotic fentanyl in his system. (wasn't the information released prior to this date, or was it June?)

k. Dr. Schulenberg( who was at the scene on 4-21-2016) admitted to prescribing Prince a prescription for oxycodone the same day as the landing but put the prescription in kirk Johnson's name for privacy.

L. Affiant learned that Prince did not have a regular doctor and that his managers would set him up with various doctors before a show so that Prince could get a "b12" injection before his performance.

m. Affiant learned that Julia Yasine Ramadan(Prince's manager from 2011-2013) set up a google account for Prince identified as jyramadan@gmail.com.

n. DEA learned that Prince's computer had several email accounts to include mistag3@ gmail, peterbravestrong @gmail, paisleyparkafterdark@gmail, and jyramaan@gmail.

o. Affiant learned that Julia Ramadan told detective Kuhnau that after she heard about the drug overdose ,she had sent an email to Prince stating "sending my love" to which a response of "love recieved " was sent back to her.

p. On 9-19-2016, Affiant received information from google that all accounts were current. There was also a recovery email that was set up in the name of KAJhipfit.net which is one of the accounts registered to Kirk Johnson. The Affiant confirmed that they are aware that Kirk Johnson previously assisted Prince in obtaining a controlled substance by contacting Dr. Schulenberg on 4-14-16.

Is it legal to prescribe controlled substances in someone else´s name? eek

I know that doctors occasionally use a relative´s name on the prescription for whatever reason (insurance issues, etc. ) but a controlled substance?

" I´d rather be a stank ass hoe because I´m not stupid. Oh my goodness! I got more drugs! I´m always funny dude...I´m hilarious! Are we gonna smoke?"

"n. DEA learned that Prince's computer had several email accounts to include mistag3@ gmail..."

Does anyone have any idea what mistag3 could stand for?

I can't bring him back as he was, so this stood out as interesting to me.

-----
I was aware of the withdrawals comment coming from his camp. Dr. S put a press release that pain pills were Kirk not Prince. Not sure way he told on himself with cops and then changed his story and appears to be getting away with it.

Is it not interesting that Ondansetron ODT is often prescribed for the following.
---
his medication is used alone or with other medications to prevent nausea and vomiting caused by cancer drug treatment (chemotherapy) and radiation therapy. It is also used to prevent and treat nausea and vomiting after surgery. It works by blocking one of the body's natural substances (serotonin) that causes vomiting.
--- Note that Prince was suppose to be in withdrawal but Dr. S was seeing him for joint pain and none of the drugs Dr. S prescribed would have helped ween him off of pain medications or had anything to do with joint pain.

I would bet that Prince had seen had doctor in the past under an assumed name either in the U.S or oversees and I bet his former manager is well aware of it.
[Edited 11/2/17 11:05am]
-----
Also note the drugs Doctor S prescribed. The diazepam was found in Prince's system but does anyone find it odd that he was prescribed so many drugs for anixiety along with the hydro that Kirk had?

Hydroxyzine is used to treat itching caused by allergies. It is an antihistamine and works by blocking a certain natural substance (histamine) that your body makes during an allergic reaction. Hydroxyzine may also be used short-term to treat anxietyor to help you feel sleepy/relaxed before and after surgery.
-----
Clonidine lowers blood pressure by decreasing the levels of certain chemicals in your blood. This allows your blood vessels to relax and your heart to beat more slowly and easily.
The Catapres brand of clonidine is used to treat hypertension (high blood pressure). The Kapvay brand is used to treat attention deficit hyperactivity disorder(

Valium, known as diazepam in its generic form, is a benzodiazepine primarily used for short-term relief from symptoms of anxiety disorders in children older than six months, adolescents, and adults. It may help relieve excessive worry, shortness of breath or heavy perspiration, feelings of edginess, and difficulty sleeping due to anxiety.
Valium can also be used to treat alcohol withdrawal, seizures, muscle spasms, or as a relaxing agent before medical procedures.
-----
The Valium should not be taken with other
Certain over-the-counter, prescription medications, and supplements can increase the risk of side effects or the levels of diazepam in the body including: alcohol, antihistamines, pain relievers, muscle relaxants, or other drugs that promote sleep and relieve anxiety.

Remember Andrew brought the Subxone for his as well. I am sorry but I think Prince was going to have problems even if the Fentenyl had not gotten to him.
[Edited 11/2/17 11:18am]
I think he had a doctor who out of his element and associates who were just as clueless.

It sounds to me as though P was trying to detox off of gosh knows what, and these drugs including the anti-naseua drug would be used for that detox.
Getting drugs from different places with contraindications can be a problem, along with of course the fentanyl issue.
Laura do you think he gave up and took another bad pill out of being in so much pain?

4 of the drugs listed came from Dr. S. From what I am reading he should not have been given all these anti-anxiety meds along with the Hydro. Even if Dr. S is telling the truth and he wrote the pain meds for Kirk he had to have been aware that P was having a problem with pain meds especially if he was seeing him for joint pain.

It does not make sense for the doctor to have prescribed all that stuff. It was not found that he was a long term user of Fentanyl so I believe that was something he was not aware of.

I cannot figure out why take the bootleg pills if Kirk had the real thing. So we have to think he got confused ( thus accidental o.d) or he just did not care. After all he got a rack of drugs from Dr. S and he still took the bootleg stuff as well.

He could have gone anywhere to get Subxone and been straight.

I still say the anti-nausea drugs are suspect as they are mainly used for cancer treatment but at the same time Prince was out the day before riding a bike and had gone to a night club.

Looks like a million bucks playing at the Channahsen Supper Club back in January.

Below are the finding from the "Affiant" , detective Christina Warner, of the Carver County Sherriff's office for 16 years.

June 10th, 2016 search warrant filed and issued: re: Cell tower records: Some information may overlap with September , 2016 warrant.

This is the warrant for all cell tower records (At&T). It is related to a specific cell number . The number is listed. I did call it 100 times or more some months back. No one answered.

a. On April 14 2016, Prince traveled to Atlanta , Ga, for a concert. Among those traveling with Prince was Kirk Johnson. On April 15th, 2016, Prince suffered a medical emergency and the plane made an emergency landing at Moline, IL.

b. The doctor who treated Prince documented Prince as suffering from an opiate overdose, however, Prince refused treatment ast the hospital. Johnson told hospital staff that Prince may have taken percocet. PRince was released later that morning.

c. The Affiant has learned that Kirk Johnson had contacted Dr.Schulenberg for Prince in regard to hip pain. Dr. Schlenberg met with Prince and prescribed him Clonidine, Hydroxyzine Pamoate and Daizepam.

d. On 4 20-16 Johnson went to Walgreens to pick up a presciption for Prince located at 4950 CO rd 101. Kirk Johnson said it was the first time he had done that.

e. During a search warrant executed on 4-21-16 at Paisley Park, a suitcase was found next to Prince's bed. One Vitamin D bottle was shown and contained Odanestron hydrochloride.

f. Johnson told investigators he was unaware that Prince was addicted to pain medication. Many of the pills that were found were found in places Prince would often frequent. As in bedroom, wardrobe , laundry room.

g. Your Affiant finds it reasonable that Johnson would have had knowledge of Prince's abuse of narcotics /medication.

h. Your Affiant is aware that Johnson is one of the very few people that have unrestricted access to Paisley Park.

June 1st, 2016 Search warrant filed and issued. Some information may overlap with previous posts. This is in relation to additonal Cellular tower Dumps for Sprint.

a. The Affiant , detective, Tyles Stahn received information from interviews that Prince's assistant had arranged between Prince and medical professionals to assess Prince's medical concerns. One of those professionals was Andrew Kornfeld. Kornfeld was at Prince's residence when Prince was found deceased.

b. Kornfeld was found to be in possession of several controlled substances that he did not have a prescription for.

c. During the course of the investigation , investigators learned that Prince had not been heard or seen from since 4-20-2016 around 2000 hours. The Affiant is aware that there is no security or video surveillance and that Prince lived by himself.

d. The investigation reveals that interviews of those who were there when Prince was found that morning, are inconsistent and contradictory at times.

e. The Affiant is aware that friends of Prince who were there were receiving and making phone calls/ text messages on the morning his body was found.

Where does it say in the warrants Dr. S prescribed 4 drugs?

I must have missed that statement.

I actually find that to be what one would expect in situation of this nature. There have been numerous tests of people witnessing the same event and having different ‘versions' when interviewed afterwords And, when we are in an emotional and stressful situation, we notice/don’t notice different things. So statement ‘d.’ is simply a fact, not a necessarily a conclusion as to why the were inconsistent and contradictory statements.

.

I think it would be more disturbing if they all had the same exact story word for word with exact times. If all statements were the same, especially in such a highly emotional event, that would make me draw the conclusion that they ‘stopped to get their story straight’. That would be more of a red flag for me.

I agree with you.

Also, the detectives had to put enough "probable cause" words in the warrants to gain access to their phone records that normally would not be accessible by law enforcement.

Dibblekins

Twenty hundred hours (20.00) = 8pm.

I was given Odansetron for hyper-emesis gravidarum (non-stop pregnancy sickness) - so it isn't 'just' for cancer patients, although it is frequently prescribed as such.

-----
I was aware of the withdrawals comment coming from his camp.

[Edited 11/2/17 11:20am]

Ondansetron can also given when ur on pain relief medication as these type of medication can cause stomach complication / vomiting.

Diazepam is also used as a muscle relaxer.

Clonidine is also used for pain management.

neutral neutral it is difficult for doctor and patient to work out a pain medication protocol that works that also doesn’t cause other adverse complications.

Note that the script bottles in the search warrant are from CVS.

P went to Walgreen's the night before he passed.

There are no Walgreen scripts noted in the warrants.

yes, ISLIJAG, you are correct.

Also...

Maybe I’m dense, but I find some of these statements curious.

Or maybe I’m just nitpicking.

So, points ike C, E, F…they make sense to me…. a bottle and contents.

but things like…. B, CVS Bottle….so….. is it empty?

or G, 10 white pills… on the counter, in a bottle?

I seem to remember way back….. someone said one ‘bottle’ had a mixture of different pills but here the SW doesn’t reflect exactly where each discovery was.

Am I missing something here?

I think he had a doctor who out of his element and associates who were just as clueless.

Do you really think it is hard for a doctor to not realize that some of the meds working together are going to cause adverse reactions. How many pain relievers and aniexity meds does one person need at one time. Look some of these up they cannot be mixed with other drugs.

Menes

Just wanted to say that I took away for these reports (coupled wth some other reports that I have) a strong sense of pain that was undeniable, and in no uncertaing terms , pointing to the end of the road.

The "don't ask, dont tell" choir is quite apparent and is indicative of the type of person he was.

There is one central figure in this story (besides Prince)whom the investigators certainly focused on very early on.

I do not believe that the amount of pills found are an indication of relief for merely "hip pain" or, that they soley represent addiction . Rather, that there was a more serious underlying illness, coupled with other ailments that compounded the problem of addiction. This cascading narrative inevitably was going to lead to a full disclosure of everything that was once guarded and impenetrable.

Accidental or not, I don't think he was in a very good space regardless of what he had planned for the future and he knew that.
