There's no way to make people happy. The Vault is clearly in bad physical condition and many tapes were laying around weathering.

Imagine if we got no new music for a while, and then the Estate announced "well... the material deteriorated further and wasn't salvageable." There would be riots. Everything since he passed has shown that the people at the Estate are in over their heads... and that they should be bringing in those who have areas of expertise and KNOW what they're doing.

This is a good first step. I'm more at peace about the condition of his recordings than I was yesterday.
