We try to call them out Dave but it's immensely helpful when people like yourself who were directly involved provide more info like you have been doing here. Much appreciated!

This guy is reading docs without fact checking. He means well but he is dangerious. By his own admission "he didn't read it corrrectly". He has limited knowledge and has never been there so when he says that Comerica is lying he is also calling all of us engineers a lie as well when it comes to the conditions of the Vault. The fact is the tapes are at Iron Mountain and to continue to slander them should be something that stops. now he is taking Sharon's statements ands trying to blame Comerica for the failed UMG deal. The failure lies on the special advisors and Bremer. The problem is that Sharon and her legal advisors have to take a stance so they attack, attack, and attack all who are "presently", responsible instead of making the original people who fucked up accountable. They almost have to do that since one of Sharons advisors was one of the same advisors who originally was involved in the messed up the UMG deal. It's all legal posturing. In the end advisors and lawsuits will cheat the family out of precious time and whatever money that's left. If Comerica stopped tomorrow and it was all turned over to the family would they have a plan? would they be able to work together? We don't know. With each day time moves on and so does a large amoiunt of Princes unhandelled business. Please call people on their Bullshit do not let the validation of unsound theories keep going on. It's waisted air. Right on. I don't argue with people about my opinions. Scram. I said what I said.

Fact-checking is a must, absolutely. As content creators there's a responsibility to get things right. |

Is the iron mountain in Los Angeles underground and or fire proof? I'm at work and saw the weather channel and my heart goes out to all the people in so cal. I am praying for them. Secondarily I thought I hope the vault is safe even if it's damaged by water, hopefully it's safe and protected. There is an iron mountain in pa and I assure you we have no fire here. I guess they had better restoration in cali for Hollywood film music etc.

nevermind, I stand corrected I'm sure the stuff is safe and protected

depends upon what tapes you refer to. The Warner Brothers stuff has probably all been digitized as most majors have been transistioning their masters for some time. Now as far as Paisley park and what he was working on. When the facility ran out of 2" analog tape all music was being created on Hard drives and was generated as first stage digital material at it's inception. So literally it was already in a "digitized"state. I hope that answers your question. Let me know if you know the engineer and the time you are referring to?

People simply have to accept the fact that Prince is gone and Paisley Park is no longer a mythic wonderland of sound. It is now a for-profit business enterprise/tourist attraction. We can remember what Prince did there, but that time is over. Vault (and other) materials had to be removed for restoration, protection and future distribution. I am sorry to be so blunt, but I read posts on various social media platforms and people are acting as if anything Prince-related should be at Paisley Park or in Minnesota. Wrong. Even Prince wasn't full-time at PP less than 10 years ago.

When can we expect to see the first invoices from the IM facility? How well will these be specified? Pills and thrills and daffodils will kill... If you don't believe me or don't get it, I don't have time to try to convince you, sorry.

Re invoice specification - based on experience of IM invoicing, the level of specification is usually as agreed betweeen Iron Mountain and the customer and it would be unlikely to disclose much of any particular interest other than cost and volume. Langebleu, would you please tell us more about your experience with Iron Mountain?

I have over 10 years' professional experience of dealing with them as one of their customers, negotiating and managing contracts for the purposes of storage and cataloging. ALT+PLS+RTN: Pure as a pane of ice. It's a gift.
