LMFAO there is nothing in the search warrant stating opiates were prescribed under Kirk's name.

Dr. S also put out press release saying he never wrote Rxs for pain meds for Prince.

Why does everyone pretend this did not happen and was not mentioned in the media? Kirk was not cooperative with the police and actually went on a vacation the day Prince died.

Jill Jones even said he lied right to her face after the search warrent came out.

No one lies if they nothing to hide. See statement from Dr. S lawyer note that Dr. S is still practicing medience with no restriction on his license.

Statement from Dr. Schulenberg's lawyer

"Dr. Schulenberg has been and remains committed to providing full transparency regarding his practice as it relates to the Prince investigation. Dr. Schulenberg has previously disclosed all information regarding his care and treatment of Prince to his former employer, law enforcement authorities and regulatory authorities in the course of his complete cooperation with the investigation of Prince’s death. There are no restrictions on Dr. Schulenberg’s medical license, and contrary to headlines and media reports published in the wake of today’s unsealing of search warrants relating to the investigation, Dr. Schulenberg never directly prescribed opioids to Prince, nor did he ever prescribe opioids to any other person with the intent that they would be given to Prince.

Kurt did eventually cooperate. Lying to p's former associates was probably pretty common place. Kurt did not stay in vacation or leave illegally. Really who would not want a break after that crazy week. Kurt does seem suspect but at the same time, he deserves the benefit of the doubt due to the fact that nothing seem s clear cut when it comes to this tragedy.

We can only go by the information in the search warrent and the police do not desribe him as cooperative I suspect that changed after Dr. S put out his press release and Kurt obtained an attorney who just so happens to specialize in enabler cases. What are the chances?

Big difference between lying to associates and lying to the cops. No one said he did anything illegal when he went on vacation it is just strange. People do not lie and are not combative if they have nothing to hide. Things are not clear because a few people do not want to be clear.

It did seem strange that he took a vacation right after, you would think he would stay around to deal with stuff, emotional and other. But for some reason to me it always felt like something Prince told him to do. "If something ever happens to me"... Pretty sure he had this convo with at least one very close person.

EXACTLY! Kirk/Switzerland? Home of the famed Swiss banks known for their ironclad secrecy. What was in Prince's safety deposit boxes there that Kirk was told to go get after he died? His will? Kirk wasn't there to buy chocolates. Had he ever 'vacationed' there before?

IMO this is the alpha and omega of any mystery behind Prince's death.

Wise words PeteSilas.

I went back and read the warrant and there was a script written for oxy the week prior.

There appears to be a dispute as to who it was written for.

However, the warrant also stated no controlled scripts were written for KJ that year.

But that isnt the only discrepancy in the warrants.

You might want to listen to the podcast - http://podcastjuice.net/t...interview/ - noted in this thread - http://prince.org/msg/7/443565 -. Scottie Baldwin talks about the Musicology Tour and how Prince's "health" affected it. The OP mentions discussion begins at 2:00.

Sheila E. claimed he was in pain for years ("all the time" she said) here - http://www.etonline.com/n...lways_pain

Other associates have also revealed knowledge of hip and ankle pain.

https://www.rawstory.com/...onic-pain/ - https://painkills2.wordpr...e-in-pain/

"As early as 2009, reports surfaced that Prince was in chronic, debilitating pain. His friends reported that he was taking pain medication to try to control the constant, excruciating pain from damaged hips."

Alan Leeds said there wasn't a tour we did when he wasn't in some kind of pain - https://www.nytimes.com/2...-says.html

Arsenic Hall talks about Prince's hip pain here - http://www.billboard.com/...h-problems

How does this constitute a narrative spewed exclusively by the media? Too many are corroborating the pain narrative for it to be media spin.

Right....good idea to draw attention to yourself by claiming an addiction to a very dangerous, lethal drug and announcing intervention. Ingenious way to create some buzz. Chaka was most likely just burnt out and needed some me time. Yep....I can see how that would work. Thanks, as always LR, for your stupendous knowledge of ALL things Prince!

You realize that these celbs have PR and manage people do not assume that the celb always knows what is going on.

Remember when Issac Hayes critized South Park for attacking Scientology and got booted off the show. Well his family said he was recovering from a stroke and he made no such statement. Do not think all celebrities are aware of what the staff is up to.

I am sure Prince did not know some of his employees were stealing scraps of paper out of the trash.

Guess my thoughts don't go there simply because that would be a rather risky career move. That type of attention seeking behavior would have far reaching consequences. Monetary and otherwise. For example....tour insurance would likely be a risky venture to an insurer and include higher premiums due to increased risk, members of her team may question their involvement with her, fans may not applaud her brave efforts to regain control of her life, etc. Seems like a juvenile, poorly thought out and all around f u to Prince or anyone else suffering from addiction issues. But, alas, I don't know her true motives and I still feel the timing is incredibly suspect. I highly doubt she was procuring her Fentanyl from a licensed physician.

I hear ya on all of that, and am aware of all of that. All I can say is that one needs to take all of it with a grain of salt.

Sheila barely saw Prince over the years, and if he was hopped up on pain killers, in general, or, for their performances together, well, she would have never seen him in pain. So that kills the addiction idea, if she saw him in pain, he was clearly not poppin pills, conversly, if he was poppin pills, she would have never known he was in pain. So she has zero credibility.

Alan Leeds or anyone else saying what they are saying, all probably taken out of context. Prince can certaintly say his hip hurts, or he is feeling the aches and pains of getting older, or performing long hours, but it doesn't mean he was in chronic pain at all, it just means he had aches and pains like anyone else his age.

Anyway, I can appreciate all those points, but I just think folks jump on this bandwagon too fast without taking common sense into consideration.

peace

Prince can certaintly say his hip hurts, or he is feeling the aches and pains of getting older, or performing long hours, but it doesn't mean he was in chronic pain at all, it just means he had aches and pains like anyone else his age. Anyway, I can appreciate all those points, but I just think folks jump on this bandwagon too fast without taking common sense into consideration.peace[Edited 9/29/17 11:30am]

Certainly a discerning eye and skepticism is deserved with media reporting but I am going to agree that the pain issue with Prince was long term, chronic and debilitating (to his mind, body and spirit).

Sheila E and Prince were friends, collaborators, associates, lovers and perhaps confidantes (to the extent that Prince would confide in anyone) for close to four decades. She toured with him many times - http://www.princevault.co...e=Sheila_E - and while I am not going to get into semantics, one does not have to appear "hopped up on pain killers" to experience relief. While I agree we all experience aches and pains as we age, this was much more than that. Enough to cause Prince, a man who rarely went out without heels and awed audiences with his stage acrobatics, to modify his performances and manner of dressing. Even the autopsy reveals and corroborates, by notation of scars, injury or surgery on a hip and ankle.

All the reporting, info from friends/associates, search warrant details and medical intervention point to one common denominator. So, we'll agree to disagree. Thanks for the discussion, leadline.

Sheila barely saw Prince over the years, and if he was hopped up on pain killers, in general, or, for their performances together, well, she would have never seen him in pain. Sure thing, that's what it's all about right? Have a good weekend.

Scottie Baldwin talks about the Musicology Tour and how Prince's "health" affected it. The OP mentions discussion begins at 2:00. Sheila E. claimed he was in pain for years ("all the time" she said) here - http://www.etonline.com/n...lways_pain Other associates have also revealed knowledge of hip and ankle pain. https://www.rawstory.com/...onic-pain/ - https://painkills2.wordpr...e-in-pain/ "As early as 2009, reports surfaced that Prince was in chronic, debilitating pain. His friends reported that he was taking pain medication to try to control the constant, excruciating pain from damaged hips." Alan Leeds said there wasn't a tour we did when he wasn't in some kind of pain - https://www.nytimes.com/2...-says.html Arsenic Hall talks about Prince's hip pain here - http://www.billboard.com/...h-problems How does this constitute a narrative spewed exclusively by the media? Too many are corroborating the pain narrative for it to be media spin.

You are discounting what Scott the engineer said about the Musicology tour and he did not say Prince was hopped up on pills he said he was in a lot of pain doing that tour. I firmly believe he did not start to a have problems until January of 2016. Something caused a drastic change in his apperence and behavior.

S is still practicing medience with no restriction on his license.

http://www.fox9.com/news/minnesota-doctor-denies-prescribing-opioids-to-prince

[Edited 9/29/17 6:10am]

Whatever happened about the bag labelled Peter Bravestrong which had pill bottles inside?

We can only go by the information in the search warrent and the police do not desribe him as cooperative I suspect that changed after Dr. S put out his press release and Kurt obtained an attorney who just so happens to specialize in enabler cases. What are the chances?

Big difference between lying to associates and lying to the cops. No one said he did anything illegal when he went on vacation it is just strange. People do not lie and are not combative if they have nothing to hide. Things are not clear because a few people do not want to be clear.

You mean she posted a photo of herself crying on 4/20/16? Did she say anything? That's something I have never heard about...

She filmed herself or someone else did in her car. She is crying and singing a song in her native language. I saw the screen shots of this footage on another forum. The person that put up the screen shoot put it up because they could not figure out what she was crying about on that night or why she posted the footage.

If it were a suicide, why wouldn't Prince have eaten like 50 of the things instead of the one he somehow "knew" to be laced?

He didn't commit suicide and he was not murdered. He took a counterfeit pill accidentally which he probably procured through nefarious means as his addiction and tolerance rose and as the DEA and regulators made getting these things harder and harder to procure, leading to him seeking pills elsewhere. Obviously he couldn't tell the bullshit ones from the legit ones by looking at them.

You can make it complicated if you feel like it but it's really not. To me anyway.

Occam's Razor and all that.

As to how long he'd been taking them, I have no idea but I'd guess 10 years at the very least. Plenty of time to gradually build up a tolerance and a dependence and, truthfully, I'd estimate it was closer to 15 or 20. Personally, I'd put the "sever pain" time stamp right around the time he stopped wearing the heels and switched to sandles and platform sneakers. Becasue he wore those heels all the time, for decades, even when playing hoops as I understand it.

Seems like logical evidence that something changed around then. Any woman will tell you that heels are very uncomfortable.

Vicodin does not make you nod out, miss work, stumble around, drool, pass out, etc. either. At least for most people it doesn't when taken as prescribed. Someone can easily take 10-30 mg a day without any noticable side effects or change in behavior. One of the most noticable side effects, however, is forgetting things, meandering somewhat and the inability to concentrate on one thing consistently. Sounds about right for Prince.

He changed his mind constantly and abandoned projects and ideas all the time.

I don't think we're through the proverbial looking glass here in any sense, at least as far as discovering deeper hidden truths about his death.
