The profanity thing, well, even Prince understood that is who he was at that time, the rest of the world is smart enough to understand that too, so, yes, even songs with swears should be released. Releasing a song from the 80's or 90's with swears in it does not change who he became later in life, it only brings focus to how he transcended his former self to become what he though to be the best version of himself. The full gamet of who he was, along the entire journey of his life is the proper way to do it.

From what I have heard from the vault, I am of the opinion that he is correct, but like all music, everyones idea of what is good or bad is different.

I'm sorry you are a legend heading towards your 60s and you don't have a will? He was clearly in decline. I am sure Rhianna and Adele have wills or some sort of directive.

I, myself, find it hard to fathom that Prince had no will. He knew he was worth millions and that his music would continue to sell after he was gone (more so in fact, as he witnessed what happens when an Artist dies: sales skyrocket for a while). I was hoping that he had a will that stated that everything in the vault was to be given away to his 'fam'. I still don't get why he didn't have a will and a small part of me is suspicious that there actually might be one but it was hidden away. Just my thoughts...

I think this is a very good description. I think if you keep plugging away at anything you become better at it. You can't just wait for the classic songs to come out from nowhere. He kept working at it every day.
