If Susan is discussing the realationship between Jill and Prince well that is not really any of Susan's business. In addtion, I think Susan may not know that Prince was still seeing Jill while he was suppose to be engaged to Susanna Melvoin and Susan Rogers seems to be close to the Melvoin sisters.

Also Jill does say she has a log and copies of music she worked on and she should get credit if she is performing on the tracks. We are going to be hearing a lot of complaining from associates if they do not get credit and it appears everyone has their own private collection of music.

If they have receipts they are going to have to be listened to.

. Jill worked there because she was related to the people who owned Motown. . Susannah also contributed to sings. Jill is trying to win at something. She should calm down and learn to play nice with others. She is one in a long list. That is all. .

Jill wrote songs with Teena Marie and was a background singer for Teena and she did get to write songs with Prince.

How she got her foot in the door is irrelevant. She actually did do something of note in the music industry other then have a sister in a band or go with an artist.

She also owns her own business so she really does not have to keep quiet about things that some fans do not want to hear.

If you're trying to say that Prince isn't the average everyday guy or working Joe, ok...but for example, in regards to your post quoted above, what does Prince not being 'Sammy Lunchmeat' have to do with Susan allegedly talking a lot about Prince's personal relationships (imo, she doesn't and hasn't) and Jill thinking Susan should keep quiet or doesn't know enough details? Jill used the term " Sammy Lunchmeat" in a lot of interviews and she states in again in her post on blog we are discussing. She means and this is how I am interpreting it from her statements that

people like the "Melvoins" and "Susan Rogers" or trying to imply Prince was some nerdy white guy and chump.

Jill is saying he was a brother thru and thru for some reason this is not the idea you are getting about him from certain people.

I think she thinks there was a whole another side to Prince that some of his associates had no clue about and I think she is correct. We all show the sides we want to show to different people at different times and as African- Americans we are experts at this.

I think she thinks a lot of the black associates and their contributions are getting "whitewashed"

which is another term she used.

The only thing she can do is make her contributions known in fact that is all any of the other associates can do. Why would anyone want their input to be hidden?

Agreed. Presentation is the thing. I can only assume she doesn't want to be heard. Seriously. What's more effective towards getting important people to listen? A calm, reasoned point-of-view OR incoherent trash talk? Isn't it obvious? What a tiresome individual.
