I hope it does exist, but who is to say what Mr .Gomez played is legit? He is a DJ, he entends shit by nature, mixes stuff. I am sure he could easily mix something together and pass it off for an official 17 days extended version.

Because as I stated, there are also collectors who have it and it is the SAME thing Questlove played. Many people have heard Questlove spin this more than once. As I said, smaller circles of collectors have it. It carries on from the 7" we know, there are unique newly sung parts, if you know the version played at the 84 birthday show that is available in crystal clear soundboard, there are elements of that in the extended portion as well.

And for the record, I'm not the biggest fan of Questlove and his showing off but facts are facts. Anybody with working ears can tell this is not something "easily mixed together to pass off as an extended version." Not sure what more you want me to say, as I said before you either believe me or you will when it makes it out. Which it will.

There is 2 ....so much material than 17days Ext....even songs as mentioned before never heard of or known as existed !

Sounds a little bit stretched : even if it was sent back to Prince, nobody in WB thought of making at least a CD copy of it ? That sounds incredible.

Where do you think much of the stuff on BFTP 4.0 & 5.0 came from? Stuff that was sat on for years was sold. And there is a lot more of it than what just came out.

Now I know nothing about tracklists, what they will decide to release and when but just think of what we know is out there but hasn't made it out to be shared with everyone (yet) as a hint. Stuff like "Yo Mister", "Cool Love", "17 Days" (extended), more alternates of songs we know, more stuff with different arrangements like the Clare Fischer version of "Others Here With Us" that was just freed, songs not even listed on Prince Vault. Also more soundboard concerts.

We'll all just have to be patient, but Boston Metro, Rainmaker and these Blast From The Past sets are just the beginning.

Prince-vocal 'Yo, Mister!', without the Leeds/Bliss horns, and electric guitar higher in the mix. Most likely very narrowly withheld from the recent BFTP installments to pad out another relea$e.
