Vandalism at Paisley Park On the sidewalk next to Paisley Park down by the Riley Creek tunnel someone has been spray painting anti-Mayte bile and other crap. I saw photos on Facebook. What is wrong with people?!? There is a sign up at Paisley now that says it’s under 24 hour surveillance. I think they need to expand that to the spot by the tunnel where people are allowed to leave tributes. And the city, which owns the sidewalk, should clean it up and post a sign saying no writing on the sidewalk is allowed. Paisley Park is in your heart

This is not the work of Prince's fans. This is a reaction to an action. A small pocket of extremists have entered the community recently. I ask myself that same question every morning when I look at the news. . . There was a Q&A piece in the Guardian this weekend with Gary Numan and one question was 'what is the worst thing anyone has ever said to you, and his answer was when he and his wife lost a baby, one fan wrote to him saying they were glad so that he would go back to concentrating on music. Its unfortunate that the lunatic fringe feel as if they have the right to not only deface property, but go in on the ex spouse of their idol. Mayte is living her life and these folks should live theirs. It's embarrassing really and is a pretty damning indictment of how some people just lack basic human decency.
Although I have never been and not familiar with the layout, the family could/should invest in security down the road. Worst thing to happen is something like this escalate into something worst.

This is what the sidewalk looks like near/inside the Riley Creek tunnel. Such a mess. Honestly I wish they would put up a sign saying no graffiti on the sidewalk.
People are allowed to leave tributes in the tunnel as well as hang things on the fence near the tunnel (only place things can be hung on the fence). I would hate to see the city or PP end that because of idiots and their stupid vandalism. smh  [Edited 7/30/17 6:23am] Paisley Park is in your heart

Yeah i saw this on twitter. Apparently some anti mayte page is responsible & i saw a tweet saying they should all meet up & protest. I wouldn't have thought anything of it but after that crazy woman at PP, it wouldn't surprise me if they do actually all meet up & protest.
