LOL, I pulled a Questlove and snuck it into into a DJ set last month. Crowd was rocking and song is fantastic, but mix is thin.

I expect a few people will want to run it through some EQ to boost the bass a bit.

Okay--I did not ever expect much from this track. From the first time I heard of it as a track for Joni Mitchell--the idea of her singing something called Emotional Pump seemed ridiculous to me. And the snippet I'd heard from Questlove's set didn't sound very interesting. But this had me by the end of the first vocal line. Yay!

Hopefully the alternate/"proper" versions of the vault disc songs will leak as well (first take of Wonderful Ass, darker version of Katrina's Paper Dolls, non-pieced together'd CB Hallway Speech, overdubbed Love & Sex, OD/RH proper, solo or final version of Father's Song, etc.)...can't imagine they're worth as much to trade anymore.

It's pretty cool to hear this track and make out the actual details in the production! The bass is UNREAL and the vocal melody made my head do a 360....

That BASS! Reminds me of another bass track, but I can't nail it down. DAG.

reminds me of Stare, but instead of that sweet ass breakdown in the middle of the song, we have an entire song of it.

He should have released this one! It would have gone down a storm in the clubs – perfect b-side material at the very least.
