This track & Come Home are top drawer. It is similar to Feel U Up & these would work well back to back in a club. Can anyone hear Alphabet St here also?? Similar music. He should have found a space for this somewhere. There was some real crap on Crystal Ball & he had trax like this just sitting there??? I'm really happy this has leaked. I can't imagine Joni Mitchell recording it,though.This should have been placed on one of Prince's own albums,or used as a B-side.

It's great. It's hard to think of any other artist doing similar stuff to what Prince was doing at the time. "Emotional Pump" is a great example of how unique Prince was. | |

Well, I doubt that. I remember reading an interview with Joni in 1988 or something where she told that story. She said something like: >>The lyrics of the song were "You are my emotional pump, you make my body jump", so I said to Prince "I can't sing it, because I don't understand it..."<<
