People have talked about other people since the beginning of people! Lets try and be open about our feelings and thoughts about the loss of Prince and how some of us need the real facts just to have a sense of closure.

If you already have a sense of closure, or are big and strong enough to accept never having closure, then the SPECULATION THREAD is not for you.

to get the ball rolling, at first I was convinced he must have been very sick, he was way skinny, but after reading about opioid addiction I now know his physical appearance could really have been caused by the addiction and not cancer, like I first suspected. Then I suspected AIDS, now once again I just dont know. The more I find out about him and listen to his music and buy CD after CD and DVD after DVD I find myself more and more impressed by his talent and personality. To me the more complicated and crazy he seems, the more I want to know.

He and I were born just months apart, and I remember the very first time I heard his music, I was in a disco and asked a fella sitting next to me "Is that Michael Jackson?" He said "no, Its Prince, and a guy in his band wears a stethoscope and a Dr's uniform". What????? That was so out there at the time.

I read here somewhere on this forum { a year ago) about an interview with Tommy Barbarella, who said that if Prince felt attacked by you, he would gang up on you. If this would happen to me then my first reaction would be to go away immediatly and forever. My second reaction probably would be: Okay, it 's Prince, and I'll make sure this never happens to me again; I become a yes-woman- the only way he tolerates me in his neighbourhood.

I also think he made himself so invisible on youtube, to ensure people weren't able to see his weightloss for instance. Maybe that money thing was just something to cover up other issues.

He was not visable on YOUTUBE because he was not getting paid he made this clear meaning times.

He also continued to tour and interact with people so he was not hiding from anyone

Play on words. When you're in the middle of a discussion/debate on a thread then, opinions differ, disucssion is wide ranging and then .... you go to look for that thread and 'poof' it's gone. Also, let me add, there is always someone who has to respond to EVERY post and push the narrative/ agenda he/she is pushing with no regard for anyone's opinion. Almost robotic.

I asked this in the thread that disappeared ...but since some of us think his death may have been scripted ,What music had Prince been listening to at the time of his passing ...what was on his CD or turntable or ipod...
