One of two things happened; either Prince died without a will or someone is withholding it. We may never know. It is curious, however, that a man who understood the power of contracts and their skillful execution left the bulk of his estate to former drug addicted sister to whom he was never close.

Wow, the article is one angry hatchet piece and BTW most of Prince's opinions on contracts are carefully worded in that they always refer to "record" contracts (happy to be proven wrong on this if you have a reference). Most of them speaking out AGAINST them. So, with this in mind it may not be so surprising that he did not have a current one in place.

What hateful piece of crap. Could be the worst thing I've read about him since he died. WHo is this evil little person?

All this garbage could have been avoid but either Prince was incapabable or choose to leave his legacy and family in chaos. I'm certain that at some point in his life someone explained to him what would happen without a will.

ALso also must have known that a history playing fast and loose with this his business committments, (no contract with Tidal, some deal with Kobalt, 2014 WB contract, etc) also made him extremely untrustworthy to deal with.

I, along with others, have said for a long time that Prince got his masters back in 2014 w/ the WB deal when AOA/PE were released. Said it, said it, said it.
