Damn, I'm using my mobile, I don't know how to post links, but if you just type "flat earth" in the search bar on top of the page, you'll find a thread that goes on and on with somebody called funkcreep trying to convince us that the world is flat and the South Pole doesn't exist. | |

OMG. I ended my last job about a month before P passed and didn’t join the org until after, so I was not part of it from the beginning. Now working part time, I hate network TV (and I know every line from every episode of Law & Order), I’m on the org a lot, much of the time reading old threads. MANY are hilarious, it’s truly entertaining. (You guys were sometimes critical, but I truly believe he knew his fans loved him).

Sorry I can’t find it, but there is a thread out there about the release of Guitar which has to be the funniest. It’s just before he released the song. Please, if someone can find it and post a link that would be great.

The plot - P announces he is going to release a song on a particular date. Needless to say, on that date everyone is at their computers refreshing every 5 seconds. The day comes… no song… the day begins to end in some parts of the world… people are upset….angry, they stated up late into the night… how dare he!?

Then someone suggested that it wasn’t end of day in MN yet so maybe it’s a time zone issue. Everyone calms down. Then, you guessed it, the day is ending in the United States, people are once again angry, calling for the song, no demanding the song, he promised after all. How dare he?

Then some wise soul says, well it is Prince after all, and Prince most likely has his OWN time zone, so when it’s time in Prince’s personal time zone, it will be release. Sure enough a bit later the song is released, then of curse the critique. But this thread is about 30 pages long, and I can imagine P in front of his computer laughing his a$$ off all day!
