I wonder what happened to the other albums that were supposed to be remastered and re released... It stopped at SOTT, and they cancelled LOVESEXY, BATMAN, D&P...

Still waiting on D&P & Black Album reissue as they are the only albums officially released on vinyl that I don't have. I get that BA is probably not happening, but come on with the D&P, WB!!

I remember 1 by 1 each of the emails from amazon cancelling my vinyl pre-orders...it was quite sad

Me too. Had to wait in line for like 5 hours to get into the place. But I got them...along with a green vinyl version of "What Times Is It?"

Have you listened to "What Time Is It?"?

A friend of mine picked it up and asked me to do a needle drop for him. Playing it back to back with the original pressing, the original sounds MUCH better.

That said, I still want it. I don't like the sound but it looks sweeeeet, and it's a cool collectible.

I notice some stores have started listing The Black Album vinyl reissue again, for a July 28th release.

What we need to know is if these are fake vinyl remasters (made from the horrendous digital masters) to surf on the vinyl interest resurgence, or if they're made from the original acetates.

To my ears, The Time - What Time Is It? RSD Exclusive, is from a "horrendous digital master".

I'm eager for someone (anyone) else to share their opinion.
