House Prince lived in before moving into PP?? Does anyone have any photos of the house that Prince lived in before moving into PP? He was living there when Mayte first came to town and he had her over for visits and then when they got married, she moved into there. I've heard that its been bulldozed to the ground with everything in it. The double gate still stands. I read in Maytes book that whatever the color of the house at the time, was the same color of the car they would be getting. lol. or visa verse. lol thanks!

The purple house was on Kiowa Trail. Bulldozed when his dad passed away. His dad was living there after P built and moved into Paisley. Good luck finding a picture though.

This is the house where the picture of a pregnant Mayte was taken
This I believe is where they lived based on her descriptions in her book

The yellow house was on Galpin Blvd (northwest of PP). It was torn down but the tennis court still remains. You can still see the homesite on google maps. As already mentioned, the purple house on Kiowa Trail (and yes, it was definitely purple) was where he lived for a while, then his father lived there when he moved to PP. It has the gates. My aunt and uncle lived a few houses down from the purple house; they have always said he was a great neighbor.

His father lived there when Prince moved to the house on Galpin Blvd, not Paisley Park. TRUE BLUE

Yes, that is right... I must have been writing too fast. From my understanding, he moved to the Galpin house in the mid 80s. Several years before PP was built nearby. The Galpin house was torn down a little over 10 years ago, I think?

Yep, Galpin house in late 1985. Paisley Park opened in 1987. Purple house on Kiowa Trail demolished in 2003 and Galpin Blvd 2005. TRUE BLUE

Thank you. Do you know if these lots were part of the real estate that was sold earlier by the estate?

Here is a link to a very large photo from Google images of the Kiowa Trail house that lets you see it in detail:

Someone should take a drone and launch from Lake Ann Park and get a shot of the Galpin Ave house site.
(I knew I should have taken my drone to MN during the Celebration.)

Hasn't the Galpin house land recently sold? There's always a rainbow 🌈 , at the end of every rain ☔️
