I thought "That Girl Thing" was written for LaLa. There is an article that said LaLa asked Prince foor a song and he wrote this one for her that night. The picture of Prince that is on the gold card is terrible (imo). This got posted to the wrong post. Can someone in charge please delete it. Thank you. [Edited 6/9/17 20:00pm]

Really Laura? You seem to think that Mayte's C-section didn't require a prescription for pain pills.

I cant see this investigation going anywhere cos it seems like they want a scapegoat. It all sounds like a witchhunt to me. Media making out like KJ is somehow responsible when no one knows what goes on at Paisley or with Prince cos he was such a private person almost to the point where he was recluse.

HA! OMG...what a great rejoinder...

If this was a witchunt KJ would be charge already. If anyone gave or sold bad pills to someone they should be held accountable. This not about a scapegoat. I don't see where the media is making KJ reponsible for anything. Everybody seems to be smiling and taking picture with him so I assume they don't see him enabler or a criminal. The media pick and choose what they want to find out. The investigation may not going nowwhere for many reasons: No one is talking, they did not get evidence they need from day one, or lack of resouces.

No one knows what was the nature of his "addiction" to claim anything as fact. Their too much information that we don't know to claim anything as fact or to compare him to other people. Just because other people where "functioning drug addicts" don't mean that was the case for Prince. Prince was a human being. Some people seem to think he was superman. [Edited 6/11/17 5:05am]

Who called Tyka and said "He's gone."?

It’s also time to maybe consider that Prince himself procured and bought pills himself. On one hand you’all agree he was the greatest entertainer, a very smart man, wrote many of the most interesting songs we’ll ever hear, built an empire…. the list goes on and on pertaining to his accomplishments; but yet (many of) you don’t think he had the smarts to buy a burner phone (he had many contacts in music and Hollywood) and call someone to have something fedexed to one of his properties?
.
Remember there were several different types of pills in different (the wrong) bottles found in his living quarters. And, yes he could have build a tolerance over time, so we have no way of knowing how long he needed pain medication whether for two years to twenty years or any length of time inbetween, we don't know.
.
Nothing takes away from how great he was or the magnitude of the loss, but I would really like to know real facts (even if some of you all think it’s none of anyone's business).

If I was the enabler I wouldnt be anywhere in America,no one would. Anyone who knows something wont talk and those who talk dont know anything. They(investigators)seem they gave away too much to begin with

HA! OMG...what a great rejoinder... She would not need know pain pills for weeks after a C-section. I have had major surgery with a high incision and gallbladder surgery were I was sent home with pain pills and trust me it was a small supply with no refills. I believe she needed them and could have been abusing them. I am sorry this women is human and is capable of using drugs just like anyone else.

The New York Times has a front page article today (Sunday the 11th) entitled "Drug trade rises in dark corners of the internet." We have been talking about how Prince got the drugs he took. This is how some other people have got theirs.

And the article does mention Prince.

Of course the media would throw his name into that. That is all they want people to know and remember

. My husband also had to have gallbadder surgery 2-years ago and the doctor gave him pills for pain, but he only took like 1 pill and did not take the rest of them. Women have c-sections all the time and I would imagine that regular Tylenol or Advil would help ease any discomfort for a few days.

. See, this is what pisses me off about the media. They keep putting out these stories about pill addiction and throwing Prince's name into it! How ignorant of them to do this, especially when Prince's death is STILL an ongoing homicide investigation and they really don't know Jack Squat about what happened to Prince or if he even had an addiction to pain pills!! SMH .

I came across this article a few days ago. Another prime example of how Prince's name keeps getting trashed and he keeps being used as the poster boy for opiate addiction! I don't like what this girl said--and kept saying "I'm not Prince." . https://rheumatoidarthrit.../dear-mom/

I can't believe what I read in this other thread (link below). The thread got locked, for obvious reasons. I just can not believe the ignorance and disrespect that some people have on the Org!! First of all, Prince's death is STILL an ongoing homicide investigation and there's never been any confirmation that he was a drug addict, like so many people are quick to put lables on Prince. Furthermore, we don't know for a fact that he took the Fentanyl on purpose, as the ME stated "accidental overdose", and the jury is still out on that. But these comments.......I can't even!! Saying trash like "How can Prince be in heaven if he took drugs??" .

NO Laura, that is not what you said. You said, you don't know why she was even sent home with pain pills, because she didn't need them. Then everyone started calling you out on it.

Nope, not media's fault. Evidently the family is ok with this narrative, because they haven't released anything to the contrary.
