It's not bad, but it kind of drones on a bit (to me).

I love Fixurlifeup on the album and yep, it's better live

If you take Hannah's vocals out of this and do a bit of tweaking, then it's one of my favourite latter era Prince releases, but then again, I've always preferred the rockier Prince.

I love Fixurlifeup on the album and yep, it's better live

I can see that working alright. Good call on the Screwdriver editing as well. That remix is way better but then goes off on that strange tangent. I'd probably keep on Boytrouble in place of Tictactoe myself because i'm possibly the only person in the world who kinda likes it.

Adding FixUrLifeUp and Screwdriver certainly would have helped, along with the Reloaded versions of Let's Go Crazy, She's Always In My Hair and ICNTTPOYNM.

I said this after they performed it at the 2013 Billboard Awards. I know some would have complained about him re-using an 80's hit but it would have been a good selling point. And it's actually a decent version.

Hang on, I confused Boytrouble with Stop This Train. Probably because Boy Trouble is so terrible that my brain had blocked it out. So it seems that you may be right, it's just you. I don't think even Hannah could really like that one.

On the subject of Boy Trouble. Did anyone ever translate the pig latin being spoken on this track?

The track itself was sounds like it was influenced by that era IMO..so it would be cool to see them do a vast array of material if the reunion continues. I hope it does. Also,I don't think it would be against the law for them to perform songs that weren't in the '78-86 timeline. Only ever listened to this record once - not cause the girls aren't talented just cause I found 3rd Eye Girl very straight ahead as a band. I know Prince liked the trio cause they created a space for his guitar and vocal to shine and while this may be true I never felt their groove - funk or rock. If you want this type of rock fusion give me Will Calhoun & Doug Wimbish, Sonny T & Michael Bland. When Prince challenged himself in this medium with higher calibre musicians he was spectacular ie "I LIke It There"!

That was one of the great aspects of Prince...He could make you hear things that you really didn't. Lol. It would kinda take the fun out of this site if everybody used that site.

If you think it's fun waiting several ahours before someone can be bothered responding, rather than the 30 seconds it would take otherwise, then sure.

The best thing about Plectrum Electrum is the cover art. With the exception of three songs, it's dreadful and best forgotten.
