Prince Opus Preview

Everyone remember this? It was Prince Opus, some $2200+ book of his 02 gig in London. This was the preview. I'm not sure what all was included, but their site has some stuff on it.

$2300 for a nicely designed piece with very limited content…Did any of these actually get produced? Most of the photos look to me like they were included in the Indigo Nights hardcover book/cd. It's neat that the site is still up for perusing, though.

The site has had a typo on it from the first time I saw it years and years ago…

Scroll a little past halfway down the page…

Includes a beautiful two-meter fold-out gatefold of Pricne on stage at the O2 London.

Child, don't even get me started. It's a small detail, but you're supposed to type two spaces after a period at the end of a sentence. These days, once space is acceptable. But to type sentences, putting no space after a comma or a period is insane. It shows lack of professionalism.

Loved the footage, more more more.

Makes me realise, I'm far more interested in how Prince lived, than in how he died.

Well, I'm a one-space-after-punctuation-kind-of-guy, but I did learn to type when two-spaces was a thing…

Prince had plenty of fun with language and spelling, but I think it's safe to say Pricne was never a name he answered to. Certainly not for $2300. razz
