Of all the influences Purple Rain had, (and it was on everything from Ready for the World to the Seinfeld pirate episode) perhaps the biggest influence of Purple Rain was on Prince himself, with it being the signature song, album, and film. It would seem to influence his every decision. Even Around the World in a Day and Under the Cherry Moon were responses to the purple shadow that his success cast over the rest of his career.

They are all on the DVDs and all are worth watching. I've went through them quite a few times. And I suppose if this one is on YoUTube, then the others are too. You can probably find the list of features on Amazon or wherever, to be able to search for them on YouTube by name.
