Prince was deeply hurt inside that during his early drug days he introduced Vanity to the lifestyle that also ended her life early. Vanity's drug habit was started way before 1987 and Nikki Sixx. She ended having more of a uncontrolled substance abuse with crack cocaine that got out of hand. It was too late for her, the damage was already done. During the last two months since Vanity died, Prince was severly deeply affected not just Vanity's death, but also from introducing her to the drug that ultimately took her life.

Thank you Yoda, for confirming that and the fact that this has been an ongoing problem since the 80's. I know you are close to the situation and this must be hard for you too. prince

Really because numerous people have said that it was Vanity and Morris who were the coke heads.

Many people back then found them both to be quite obnoxious. This is mentioned in many of the books that have come out over the years. So now because some random person gets on Prince.org and turns the story around that Prince was the coke head that lead Vanity down the wrong road.

And we also don't know for certain that he had some long term opioid addiction that caused him to become sick yet people seem to be making that assumption too.

There are plenty "possibilities" out there, which is what I stated. I also asked a question of "COULD his ailing physical demeanor be caused from years of opiod/act ingesting/possible abuse?" Was Prince in perfect health in the few months before his death, I personally do not think so. There was SOMETHING going on, and if anyone can't see that in the pictures that have been posted here and on the internet, then they are BLIND!

eek See here for the comments Alan Leeds made about Vanity in DMSR

http://prince.org/msg/7/396642

Also the comments in DMSR about the whole crew on PR being on drugs and Prince not knowing until the end of the tour and firing everybody. How about Wendy saying he got nausea at the smell of smoke? I would think it would be hard to hit the crack pipe smoke was a issue.

It is Thursday as we have coke I guess tommorow it will weed and meth.

The problem with you referencing yourself as a "messenger" is the FACT that not all of your "facts" are such...

You're a piece of work! WHERE did I state that I did not believe Prince was going through withdrawls?? As A MATTER OF FACT....I DO believe he had an underlying illness, possibly the havoc wreaked on his system from POSSIBLE years of opiod/acetomenaphin abuse ate up his system and that's what caused his ailing health?

Like I said, a sore throat is NOT a common withdrawl symptom, period, end of story. You CONSTANTLY reach to fit your narrative. I'm not discounting anything...what I am NOT doing is MAKING SHIT UP!

common withdrawl symptoms:

*diarrhea
*abdominal cramping
*goose bumps/chills
*nausea & vomiting
*dialated pupils/blurry vision
*rapid heartbeat
*runny nose

no where does it state (if you can find it as a "stand alone" symptom, BE MY GUEST)that a sore throat *by itself* is a COMMON withdrawl symptom

and my guess is that you ignore the rather obvious that "herecomesthepurpleyoda" is/was directly affiliated with Prince/Prince's family....I'm pretty sure his statements are the most accurate, NOT your suppositions and speculations.smdh.....give it a rest already

[Edited 4/27/17 12:14pm]

A sore throat is a common problem of vomiting which is a common problem of withdrawals. Turn on your thinking cap. I never said a sore throat was a stand alone problem of withdrawals. I made the mistake of thinking somepeople could figure this out.

I have only repeated what was in the search warrant ( he was going thru withdrawals)

I am sorry you have some sort of problem with facts.

One minute on this board he is a drug addict who could not have been suffering from long term use of opiads ( which I mentioned a year ago he could have had organ damage ) now we find out he was going thru withdrawals and let's question if he really had the sympoms of withdrawals

[Edited 4/27/17 13:01pm]

I did not copy anything what the fuck are you talking about? Vomiting is a common problem of withdrawals and vomiting will f-up your throat. Really nothing more to it then that.

I have stomach problems and no plenty about this topic. If you constantly vomit you can do serious damage to your throat. I sometimes think that you have some idea that you are the only one that can actually read or know about anything. You need to knock it off.

what has also been mentioned in "books over the years", is that Prince was on "Percodan" around the LG (00's)and that this was the reason for him being able to pull all nighters as well as his mood swings at the time. There are direct quotes on pg. 241 Hahn's "The Rise and Fall of Prince".

Maybe I do not give a care who they are. I can tell you what many associates have said about Vanity over the years and they had no problem saying it. Alan Leeds said she was street and he put Morris out on front street as a coke head.

He had many issues with Prince as a lot of associates but most even now are very adament that he was not into drugs back then. They have no reason to continue to lie as estates cannot sue for defamation. Did Prince get her into the stupid and degrading sister wife shit ? Yes I believe he did and Vanity came from a very abusive homelife so I am sure she brought her drug problems and mental issues with her and got mixed up with the wrong man.

I would go with Per Nielsen many people interviewed for Hahn's first book claim to have been misquoted and Hann was on Facebook for the second one asking fans questions.

He was pulling all nighters when he was a teen was on drugs then per Chris Moon

I don't doubt something was wrong with his health. But many here seem to be putting it down to years of opioid abuse as if it's fact. All I'm saying is we don't know. Why is it so hard for people to admit we don't know rather than making assumptions (whether it's long term opioid abuse, illness or something else)?

---The family that he took care of but did not spend a lot of time with because they were not supportive. There is a interview he did around the Dirty Mind period were he put s lot of stuff out there about his family. The behavior of Sharon now along with her behavior when there Dad died should tell you something. I would take more stock on what people like Susan Rogers had to say about the 80s. Susan said she stayed up with him for 3 days working and she has said she never saw him use drugs. Is it so hard to believe that he had some monster insommia problem and probably a rack of other issues we do not know about.

You need to find a hobby. I am only going to discuss this with you one more time on what planet would you not be able to figure out that if a person is being treated for withdrawals that they are going to vomit and that vomiting would cause a sore thoat therefore sore thoarts are a by product of excessive vomiting which is sythomp of withdrawals. You are so caught up with trying to catch me on the wrong that you cannot see the big picture.

I don't recall anyone saying that Per misquoted them. I do not remember Per being in a lawsuit with Prince. I do not recall Per coming on this board a few days after Prince's death to advertise his book. We also do not have a whole horde of people recently and in the past who will actually say Prince was a recreational drug user not one. They cannot be sued so nothing will happen if they say so. We have family members who sued him, talked trash about him to the media, and a sister who has his crooked ex-manager representing her Jazz carreer. Everything I have stated is true.
