Special Poetry Issue Inspired by the Life, Music and Spirit of Prince Dear Org Members,
The Delaware Poetry Review is proud to announce the official publication of “‘This Thing Called Life’: Poetry Inspired by the Music and Spirit of Prince” to coincide with the one-year mark of the artist’s death.
The issue features thirty-two poets from across the United States. The writers selected for this special issue approach the life, music and spirit of Prince Rogers Nelson from various perspectives, voices and styles. Furthermore, they clearly share a mutual respect for a performer whose career spanned nearly forty years and whose musical palette included Jazz, Pop, Rock and Roll and Hip Hop. The writers gathered in this issue speak to the profound influence Prince had on artists of all walks of life, especially poets.
