cloveringold85 said: All the above is true but Prince would still be here even if those doctors never showed up. Prince is dead because he was poisoned. Actually, he may have been killed no matter what. What I'm trying to say is , their first attempt to take him out was on the plane. If they would not have succeeded on the 21st,they would have got to him eventually. I think it's kind of strange time Warner just changed their name. I think it's strange the new release date of Purple Rain 6/16, is the same date Prince was supposed to speak politically at Luzniki stadium in Russia. It's also a shame that a Russian owns wb music. He probably didn't grow up listening to Prince at all. God please protect me

Yeah, he was poisoned by the street drugs that he took. You start buying off the streets, you never know what you are going to get. That's why there is a lot of deaths in the states right now, due to these drugs.

I don't believe Prince was buying street drugs. I think someone was replacing his pills with bad one's. When I read about all the pills they found at PP, I was like, this is just beyond crazy! Why would a man who only weighed 112 LBS at his time of death have enough pills that could wipe out an army of men! Just does not jive well with me. It all seemed staged, imo.

Yes it does seem staged...and still Andrew went into PP with more???

This may help:

"According to several sources, Prince's staff eventually reached out to Phaedra Ellis-Lamkins, a well-known environmental and labor activist in the San Francisco Bay Area who has been credited with helping Prince recover the rights to his early catalog of songs from Warner Bros.

Ellis-Lamkins called Dr. Howard Kornfeld, a pain and addiction specialist in Mill Valley, Calif., seeking his help to get the musician off prescription painkillers, the sources said.

Ellis-Lamkins, reached by phone, declined to comment."

"I cared deeply about him, and I am not ready to speak publicly," she wrote the Star Tribune in a follow-up e-mail. "I also know how much he valued his privacy and want to respect his wishes."

The script the doctor gave him was not going to

last him long because just one pill 1-2x per day was not going to alleviate his pain.

Then how do you explain the pills cut 1/4 & 1/2? Seems Prince was not abusing but being cautious. A crime was committed at PP we just have no concrete answer as to who. Just guesses based on the warrants.

It was suboxone.

This is the medically acceptable treatment for someone going through opiate withdrawal.

You just cant stop cold turkey.

My thoughts on this is that too many emotions are involved and not enough trying to focus on the facts. I think there is too much focus on how one thinks the outcome should be (such as, for example, to say "Prince couldn't have had this drug problem, someone did this to him", etc.) and trying to align all the events to match. When they don't match to the ideal, then it's confusing, it's wrong, or there has to be another reason why this or that happened. So, then to make it all match, all these whacky scenarios come forth, further confusing one. Picking out small or insignifant occurrences and making them huge and sinister to fit the plan. It's a circular circus. You ever see a movie where when the cops question a witness in the event of a crime or disturbance? And then the witness throws out all these emotional statements and the cop stops and says, "Please, just the facts ma'am." wink Just my thoughts.

Phaedra has conflicting dates with when she worked with Prince. She has been caught lying, and had settled out of court recently with the Estate.
She was one of three people with Prince at the WB meeting to get his masters back
And some questioned if she may have been Ps POA.

I do remember that this was reported in the news early on, but had forgotten about it until the most recent post mentioning that Phaedra had contacted Dr. K. For some reason, I thought it was Kirk. I think the only thing that made it seem believable was her response to the Star Tribune in her email to them. shrug

Per the warrant, Andrew had these medications with him in his backpack (to the best of my reading of the messy warrant handwriting):

  • 11 Suboxone pills (N2): used to ease opioid withdrawal symptoms (Suboxone is a brand name)
  • 5 buprenorphine pills (54411): the main ingredient in Suboxone; eases opioid withdrawal symptoms
  • 2 promethazine suppositories: used to treat nausea and vomiting (also can ease allergies, hives and is a sleep aid); nausea is a common withdrawal symptom
  • 6 lorazepam pills (457): an anti-anxiety medication, which are commonly used as part of an opioid withdrawal protocol

-

There were no opioids listed on the warrant inventory.

cloveringold85 said: This is just my opinion after viewing this for the first time, and I love Prince, FYI. Okay, CBS is at PP to promote PP- Kirk didn't fly out to NY to do a talk show. He is protecting Prince's medical privacy, how Prince would want and expect him to- I do not see in his eyes, or feel any evil energy that he would ever want to intentionally or unintentionally hurt Prince. 30 years he's been at PP, he said. He said first and foremost Prince was an entertainer, that's what he did, he kept going and going all the way until the end. I do not 'sense' nor does it make 'sense' to think this man, the really only 1 man who P trusted for 30 YEARS is suddenly gonna go psycho evil. No. Like someone said on this thread earlier- good luck trying to find a jury in MN who would condemn anyone who from their heart, was trying to help P the best they could- he was loved. My take on viewing this interview and following this case all year.

.

I respect your opinion, but too many things just don't add up about the days leading up to Prince's untimely death. Kirk has gave too many conflicting stories. In the beginning, he stated that he never saw Prince had a problem with pain meds, but then we find out that he was the one picking up Rx's for Prince and he claims he only did it once? ONE time? Should we really believe that?? eek

.

You would be surprised at what a person will do for the sake of money. Look at what happened to Selena (the mexican singer). Her closest confidant betrayed her and, umm (murdered) her. I don't like saying that. sad

.

[Edited 4/24/17 17:39pm]

How is that even possible when this is on page 4 of the released Search Warrant for Kirk's cell phone?

During a search warrant executed at Paisley Park on 4/21/2016 (the day Prince was found deceased), a suitcase was found in Prince’s bedroom next to his bed. Among the items inside that suitcase were prescription pill bottles in the name of Johnson. A closer examination of those pill bottles revealed that not all the pills inside the containers were the pills listed on the prescription. One of the pill bottles, a Vitamin D bottle, was found to contain the controlled substance Ondanselron Hydrochloride.

A second prescription bottle, said to contain Ondansetron, was found to contain the controlled substance Acetaminophen/oxycodone hydrochloride. The date those medications were prescribed to Johnson, according to the pill bottles, was 4/7/2016. The medications were prescribed by Dr. Schulenberg.

The cut pills could be pills that Prince cut to take for breatkthrough pain when the full dosage wasn't lasting or helping. That does not mean someone murdered Prince.

The one thing that everyone keeps neglecting in their desire to point fingers is that it was one dosage, one time, that ended Prince's life, and that was the pain pills that were cut with fentanyl. Whoever gave him that medication could end up being charged, but we may never know where or how he got that medication. It could also be that Prince ordered it online. We still don't know what they found on Prince's laptop. Or that someone was buying pain medication for Prince (because he wanted to keep his medical issues private) and unfortunately bought them from the wrong person.

It doesn't matter whether Prince was taking pain medication for years or not. It doesn't matter whether he was addicted, dependent, or only ever used them when he couldn't get above the pain. None of that has any bearing on the case. The pills that took Prince from us were the last pills he took, and was an accidental overdose of fentanyl. If Prince were not aware that medication had fentanyl in it, and took his regular dosage, it would still have taken him from us. If those pills had not had fentanyl in them, chances are we would still have Prince with us and he would be in treatment right now.

Our anger needs to be directed at the idiots that are making these illicit pills and putting fentanyl in them. THAT is who killed Prince.

Agree, and Why would anyone call a Dr in Cali when there are local more reputable Drs in Minnesota. And he says he's to busy so sends his son instead ....
Or why not just dial 911 instead of the story being told.

Supposing it's true that she was called...perhaps she has contacts, knew something, etc. that whoever called her knew they could do so because they could trust her to find someone to help Prince as discreetly as possible. Whoever called her, it appears, was out of options because Prince seemed to be spiraling. Desperate measures? I don't enough about her connection to Prince to offer a substantial answer.

Regardless of whether he brought them or not, he didn't do anything with them. It doesn't matter that he brought them with him. Nothing was done with them. It's a detail that has no bearing on what ultimately happened with Prince.

But again, as I asked above: why would someone contact her of all people regarding a grave medical situation? Why would anyone think she'd be the person to call when there are oh so many qualified medical professionals that could help?

Maybe they felt she would be discreet, since she was a lawyer, and maybe they thought she would have connections or know of a treatment place that would be just as discreet.

PurpleDiamonds, you are really hung up on the fact that they did not get Prince treatment from a facility close at home. That has been addressed several times.

A lot of this has been discussed before and It makes no sense...again...Andrew should not have brought illegal meds with him as he could not do anything with them

Regardless of whether he brought them or not, he didn't do anything with them. It doesn't matter that he brought them with him. Nothing was done with them. It's a detail that has no bearing on what ultimately happened with Prince.

He could have brought the fatal pill...we don't know and this has been discussed many times.

and Maybe the personal relationship between Phaedra and P was such that THEY knew that getting HER involved would carry some punch

He was from a pain management facility and assistance with addictions to pain medication. I highly doubt that he brought pain medication laced with fentanyl with him. They were there to help him find other ways to deal with the pain besides narcotics.

Most of the pills found were reportedly counterfeit. You don't need prescriptions for those.

we don't know out of the hundred pills found How many may have been put there by someone else, Andrew or ?? Just questions. Prince did not have that many prescriptions written out. Do you or anyone know if the prescriptions written out to Prince were on the warrant?

Because Andrew wanted to go to prison for life, or in your scenario get the death penalty to

kill a man he had never met.
