Prince did not test positive for fentanyl on the 14th, when he overdosed on Percocet. The doctor did a blood test on him on the 14th, and found Percocet which is exactly what Kirk told them they would find, and exactly what Kirk had just gotten a prescription for.

Can someone verify what moon just said? I thought it was still a mystery what exactly caused the near death plane incident.

/-We have no idea what the results were and we will never know due to HIPPA. I also do understand why Prince would need any test to tell him he was using Percocets. We only have Kirk's word and TMZ. I think we have a KJ fan.

I agree as well...please enlighten me here..the test in question was on the 14th? correct? some way we know this test did not test positive for Fentanyl, but we knowthis test came up positive for Percocet???? What was this test done for in the 1st place?? I didn't keep up with this test....(not being facetious)

That IS the only point I was trying to make...the oxy's were MANUFACTURED legally, but the Vicodins were not, and contained Fentanyl.

Vicodins ARE oxy, so I am not sure what you mean.

No, Vicodin are HYDROCODONE and acetamenophine, NOT OXYCODONE

You are right, my mistake about the oxy statement. But the Percocet (oxy) might or might not have been prescription. It could have been illegally made, like the Vicodin was.

We don't know the Percocet pills found in his possession were legal or illicit. They could be as phony as the Vicodin pills found in his possession. I think he chose the fake Vicodin over the Percocet (whether legal or illicit) because less than a week prior he had od'd on the legal Percocet that was prescribed for Kirk, and because he was trying to withdraw he took the weaker of the two. What are the chances of getting a poison pill? It all depends on how many pills you have taken and are taking, and how many suppliers you have, and how many shipments you have received. In Prince's case, it was one too many. It is also completely random, you could die from the first pill you take. [Edited 5/10/17 12:32pm] [Edited 5/10/17 12:35pm]

If Prince was found with illegal pills in Moline, wouldn't he have been arrested?

Actually I have no idea where the test on the 14th came from. The only test thst was mentioned by the AP services was a test Dr. S ran on the 20th we found out from media reports that he did not have Fentenyl in his system from those test. If he had test in Moline or when got back from Minneapolis this has not been made known to the public. In fact we no timeline on what Prince was doing the week before he died outside of the party, bike riding, and going to the record store. We really are missing big chunks of time and information.

Prince was most likely just having routine blood work done, because of the medications he was taking.

Wasn't Dr. S bringing him test results on the 21st? I believe Prince had seen his doctor the day before he passed. I'm pretty sure that's what all the reports said.

The search warrants states the doctor who treated Prince in Moline documented Prince was suffering from an opiate overdose. It doesnt say what kind of opiate although Kirk told the hospital staff it MAY have been percocet.

Prince was not found with illegal pills in Moline. The hospital (as far as I know) did not call the police on Prince, but having illegal pills in his bag is probably one reason he wanted to hightail it out of Moline.

The test was done in the hospital on the 14th because Prince had just almost died on board a plane. The doctor needs to know exactly what they are treating, and they do this with a blood test. Obviously they knew it was an overdose, but they are not just going to limit their care to the Narcan shots, then send him on his way. This was serious!

Do you have a link that provides this information? I'm not doubting you, it's just that I have researched this case from the beginning to present and I have not read this information.

This is the link I found today, but I originally found it in the Star Tribune.

This article is from August 2016. VF is quoting several media versions. Here is yet another "anonymous official" giving their leak to the media. So I have to place it in the unproven file for now. Thanks for the link.

If the POLICE found him with pills that they IDed as illegal, then he would have been subjected to whatever laws the police follow in that situation.

-

There's no record that the police were called into the Moline incident (or that anyone inventoried the exact pills he had on him) and medical personnel are not typically required to contact cops even if they have strong suspicion of illegal drug activity -- and again, we don't know if the doctors in this situation suspected that.

I mean, the law is the law and no one is exempt, not even Prince!

.

I remember when Dave Gahan of DM overdosed in LA back in 1996, I think it was. He was treated at the hospital and then arrested for possession of cocaine, which is illegal, as we all know, and he spent one year in rehab and got clean, thank God.

Just adding to what you said....What I was driving at is, if Prince was not arrested in Moline, that tells me that the pills he was carrying were legit. The paramedics had to have known what was in P's bag because they gave him Narcan and treated him in the hospital for opiate overdose.

Kirk told them PROBABLY Percocet. Are you implying it could have been a fentanyl overdose? A fentanyl overdose would be improbable because Prince had access to a full safe prescription of oxy (Percocet) that Dr S ADMITS TO THE POLICE was prescribed to Kirk but was meant for Prince on the 14th. Why would Prince have needed a scrip if he had the illegal fentanyl laced pills with him? Why would he have taken the illegal fentanyl laced pills after having a doctor prescribe safe pills?

The plane records are on facebook. Plane landed like 1:15 am and departed Molina like 11 am something. So I guess he stayed 10 hours.

So we still do not know if any test were done Moline or what he O.D on in fact the hospital has said they did not have anyone at the hospital named Prince Rogers Nelson. Has far as refusing treatment why would he stay in that hospital if he was already seeing Dr.S? I think you using some speculative facts to make up stuff that we will never know about.

Billy Jack bitch or kj , which one suits you better?

Like I've said, Kirk ain't no hero in this sad situation, but neither is Tyka or any other of his close family or associates. If the police could prove Kirk gave the oxy to Prince they'd arrest him. But Kirk can say he doesn't know how Prince got the oxy, he could have stolen it.

Keep in mind, if Prince hadn't taken that fatal dose of fentanyl on the 20th he might have successfully withdrawn from opioids, and we'd be patting on the back those folks who called the treatment center.

Exactly-that's why I stated in an earlier post (test that we knew of on the 20th), that Fentanyl only stays in the system up to 3 days. By day 6, it is out of your system (IF OD'd on fentanyl on the 14th and didn't touch it again until the fatal dose, it would not have shown up on the 20th)..still, where on this tested was it stated that fentanyl was not detected? I'm curious
