none of that bothered me, i can tell you one thing, it's way more irritating listening to these podcasts with multiple interviewers asking stupid, gossipy questions and not letting the interviewee finish a single thought.
Good points all. But it can be just as irritating listening to someone fumble through a question taking for-fucking-ever to finish the question, with chopped up phrases and run-on sentences.
i guess, when i'm irritable, and i'll need some kind of instructional for my car or computer off of youtube, nothing is more irritating than these young fucking kids who obviously just haven't had a lot of social experience, they literally sound retarded, "umm, anndd, then, uhhhhh,....duggghhhhh, i'm still a virgin" usually they don't know their ass from their lips anyways and i'll just keep searching until i find someone with their head on straight. No, Queen Laura, actually it wasn't, and so what if I'm comparing him to Charlie Rose? That dude is amazing.
Besides, not being professional is ZERO excuse for being that damn sloppy with interviewing. [Edited 4/3/17 2:58am]I don't argue with people about my opinions. Scram. I said what I said. |

Read reply 139. It was explained. You cannot compare a professional reporter to a dude running a podcast who has no background in journalism. I am so sorry this has to be explained to you.

This was such insightful interview, I am not sure why some are twisting this into something negative.
I quess people are not use to people being real and hate seeing any one talking postive about Prince. |

I do not get it either. I would swear there are people on this board who cannot stand anything positive. |

Actually, it's science...as newborns there are some folks who get the "negativity dose" and forevermore it manifests.
Trust me. I'm a nurse. We know stuff.

Nice interview. She is so respectful to his legacy. I appreciate that. Can't believe she was only 18 when she started working for him! |

This was a great interview. Some points that stood out to me: - She says she was shocked that he died and did not expect that whatsoever. And that it was sort of a running joke with him that he would say he'd be the last one standing, or something to that effect. Don't know when last said that, but she worked with him until a few weeks before his passing, so that makes me wonder if he didn't expect he'd die either. - She says he was extremely well-read about all religions and things of this nature and open to all paths spiritually. - She says he was a constant, incredible giver. He'd pull the limo over to hand a homeless person a stack of money. He said he could get more of it and they might not be able to. - There seems to have been a lot of joking around and playfulness between Prince and his staff/musical family, but they also knew he was boss. This tells me once again that he could walk that fine line of appreciating humor and people but also have excellent boundaries. - She says he took care of his family of origin financially. I knew in my heart right after he died that he had been doing this. Kim said he took care of everybody and knew he had not only a musical calling from God but a much bigger responsibility too. - It seems she almost walked his life with him from D&P on. She has had an unbelievable experience. She is grateful that he allowed her to be there for all the events of his life including his parents' and his son's deaths. She is VERY funny. She is writing a book called "Diamonds and Pearls" that will be out before Christmas and she says it won't be a tell-all or have any of that negativity in it; that it'll be an expression of love to her brother. The interviewer still sucked. But Kim herself was great, and thankfully, she talked a lot, so I wasn't subjected to him fumbling through trying to ask questions too much. [Edited 4/13/17 10:01am] I don't argue with people about my opinions. Scram. I said what I said. |
