Ya know it's probably more plausible he put his clothes on backwards, rather than someone else doing it. It's more plausable that he would have been found nude with no clothes on vs clothing on backwards in an elevator.

No, it's actually more plausible that he put on his clothes backwards, rather than not wearing anything. That's the way he was found. What about that is so difficult to understand? Everything on backwards is not only sloppy but there is a dark message with that. Maybe that was the intent of the person who spoke of it

Because of the profile of dead OD victims puts them in relaxed positions in bedrooms or baths.
If he OD off the Fentanyl after taking a dose and lets say he was walking toward his bedroom and collapsed he wouldn't have his clothes on backward including sock and shoes on the wrong feet. Someone who is that discombobulated would not just pop up and "OH MY GOD !" start putting on clothes backwards and grabbing hats like a drunk person would. He had his cap on too accourding to the leak and his shoes too. He had also been dead hours which would make it almost certain the he died soon after talking too Will Smith the evening before.

Well, if you believe the story he was found that way. That leaves 2 possibilities. Either he was confused, delirious in his present state, or he intended it that way as symbolism. Or, there is a 3rd possibility, but I believe that to be so unlikely as to be fantasy. So I'm not even going to mention it bc it's nuts The world's problems like climate change can only be solved through strategic long-term thinking, not expediency. Hey PurpleDiamonds1 whaz up?!?
I am too still disturbed by the fact all his clothes and his socks were on backwards. Ok - if he was sick and there could be soooo many reasons for being/feeling sick, or if it were any meds he was on that altered him and his motor skills in anyway, I still cannot believe that he seemed to put on every single article of clothing, including his socks, inside out. Anything is possible, but it is just weird to me too. "A strong spirit transcends rules." - Prince

Hiw difficult is it for you to understand that most people find someone walking around with all their clothes on backward even their socks to be strange and I look of people are found dead buck naked.

Whitney Houston died in the bath, Elvis died on the crapper. It's possible both carradine and hutchence died from auto-erotic asphyxiation. They're not found nude for no good reason. ok. every artist that dies seems to have a conspiracy theory around them, Sam Cooke did but when i did research I couldn't find anything to validate that. I think it was etta james who said she saw sams body after he died and that he was nearly decapitated but that's easy to dispel because there is a photo of him at the scene where he got shot and he's slumped over and nude but not bludgeoned. Don't know why people make up shit like that. the Elvis is alive theory had lots of people believing it, I knew a guy at a piano bar i worked in, he'd tell me that elvis didn't die, i'd humor him but when he went up onstage saying that shit i told him to knock it off unless he wanted people thinking he was nuts. Michael Jackson, interestingly, told people that he was targetted, Lisa Marie said this but she never said what the names were. I can't believe that until i see proof. Bob Marley was thought to have been given some poison boots with a tack inside of them as a gift which gave him cancer. Well, from what i read, there is nothing that can give you cancer that way. Lots of people still think Bruce Lee was murdered but I think the most likely cause of death is what the doctors warned him about, eating hashish which he had an allergy too, he was warned not to eat it, a month later he dies from it, kind of like how prince was warned and probably od'd a few days later.

I think the point was that it's not uncommon to find people dead in the nude. I think dorothy dandridge was found nude too.

I visited PP last Fall and struck up a conversation with one of the staff who worked closely with P for many years. I asked what he thought happened that night, and he said that no one knows for sure. He did say, however, that P could have been going to the basement to get to his car and just never made it. The insinuation was that whatever happened, P knew he was in trouble and was trying to leave PP and get help. Keep in mind we were only told that he was found on the elevator. They never said which floor. I found this interesting and quite sad--even if it's only speculation or a Paisley Park rumor. To know that he was alone, and realizing that he needed to get help, and then to not make it, is heartbreaking.

To know that he was alone, and realizing that he needed to get help, and then to not make it, is heartbreaking. This is what has troubled me most about his passing. Why was he in the elevator? Was he going to his quarters to retire for the evening like "normal" and just collapsed and that was it? Or did he realize he was in trouble and was trying to go for help? I just don't know. Idk exactly how a fentanyl OD plays out. Idk if there is even an awareness of danger or if you just simply go to sleep for lack.of better terminology. My understanding is that it happens quickly and there would not be any suffering so I hope that is true. The thought of him in a panic and alone is almost too much to bear. He deserved a better ending. It's a hurtful place, the world, in and of itself. We don't need to add to it. We all need one another. ~ PRN

i've heard that it happens fast too, i wonder if it would happen so fast that he would not have time to get up and get his car. anyway you cut it, for a guy as smart as prince was, it's damn stupid to take something just 5 days after you almost died and it's damn stupid to not have anyone around.

Yes, that he was left alone made me so angry for a time and then I just had to let it go knowing those in his circle probably couldn't feel any worse than they already did. I like to believe they would have done things differently if they could go back. But that's not how it works. It knocked the wind out of me learning help was on the way if only he could have hung on just a tiny bit longer. So many "if's", so many broken hearts. I would like to also clear up some misinformation here. This has not been labeled a homicide or murder investigation. It was ruled an accidental, self administered fentanyl overdose. That's never changed. There is no foul play suspected. I live in MN and the only thing that's being investigated (if anything) is how he got the drugs. But that may be impossible to figure out. Especially after this much time. He wasn't a druggie. He was just another victim of the opioid epidemic in this country albeit a high profile one. My heart breaks knowing he struggled and was too ashamed/proud or too fearful of the bad publicity to seek proper help and treatment for both his pain issues and his substance abuse issues. He didn't want to die, nor did he know he was going to that night. It was an unfortunate accident that took him way too soon. If nothing else it's very telling about the danger and the power of opiates if they got over on him. It's a hurtful place, the world, in and of itself. We don't need to add to it. We all need one another. ~ PRN
