I don't think you've been paying attention, at least where it comes to that song. I mean that "Moonbeam Levels" was set to be on various albums through the years, but never materialized. It's a highly requested song from fans, even at the Celebrations for Crystal Ball 2. Them putting it on 4Ever was perfect, because it's at least one song we've long loved, and they gave us. Plus it's just quirky enough of a title that it'd get people's attention. "What is a moonbeam level anyway??"

Prince always talked about dying - the fact that he's dead now and a song w/ a death lyric is in it shouldn't really phase anyone, in the grander scheme of Prince lyrics. It's like arguing that "I Would Die 4 U", etc shouldn't be on a post-mortem compilation. We're adults here, and we all hurt. But let's stay logical. Someone on here recently said that no releases should come out in April, or in June. I mean - every month can't be off limits, because of a birthday, or a death day, or whatever. The same goes for songs.

Rogers isn't responsible for the release. Remember, PR Deluxe was supposed to come out in 2014, but it didn't for reasons discussed repeatedly here and beyond.

To the OP, It's January 21. I'm not sure how WB is "taking their time" with it. This has been discussed very recently about it not coming out on freakin' January 1 or something. Y'all need to calm down, and just wait for it. (We all want the package, but fussin' won't make it come faster.) They're not going to release music every month. The days of NPGMC type releases are over, and illogical.

hopefully,"taking their time" means they're gonna add alot of bonus material,extensive liner notes,rare photos.....the whole nine yeards to make this a really special,satisfying project.

Plus because WB did a ratchet job on 4 Ever, with its Ka$h in feel, cheap cover, out take photos, 40 greatest hits (Ktel, Startel etc), and we are dreading if PR will get the same barely there, rush it out for the KA$H feel of it.
