Lol, it certainly is one I never felt I understood completely. The whole Lovesexy album is filled with some pretty interesting takes on spirituality and sexuality that is hard to relate to.

I agree about the word game of cunnilingus, where Prince uses his tongue for a marker pen and his partners body for the paper. That is pretty clearly to me. That links in with "i'm going down, to Alphabet Street" the Lovesexy track (I'm gonna write my name on your walls (not quite physically possible, but it is a metaphor), halls of desire. Or maybe he wants to do this through good cunnilingus.

I give up! But Prince certainly was a Sphinx with a secret. Believe what you want or as Prince said "Whatever floats your vote." He used to delight in saying the most sexual songs weren't about sex so this could just be another.
