He told me , I'm going to look for the ladder. I asked him what that meant. All he said was, sometimes it snows in April. - book D.M.S.R.

As a younger Prince fan, I can honestly say this will do nothing but good for the music. Streaming now is what radio was probably like 30 ish years ago. It's where you go to get the latest music, it's no longer radio. And I know quite a few people who will still buy the album, if it's something that they are interested in. Yes there still is the thrill of owning a physical copy of the music, or knowing you helped contribute to the artist, but getting the interest out there alone is just as important, and that's what streaming will do. After all, isn't that what you all did with all those bootlegs/Black Albums back in the day??

OnlyNDaUsa said: wait.... PRINCE (2016 REMASTERED) Yes, TIDAL has a new feature called TIDAL Masters, offering steaming of albums straight from the master tapes at 96k/24-bit, so you're pretty much hearing what the artist heard during the mixdown in the studio if you have the proper (expensive) equipment. Prince's self titled album got added to the program, and it sounds great on my Sennheisers.

Prince's Biggest Hits Coming to Spotify, Pandora & Other Streaming Services on Sunday: Confirmed http://www.billboard.com/articles/business/7686040/prince-spotify-pandora-streaming-services -- I just read this article. I have a question about the following paragraph: "As for digital radio, Pandora confirmed with Billboard that users will be able to hear actual Prince songs in their purple-tinged stations, and iHeartRadio announced that it is adding the artist to its various tiers, plus launching an original iHeartPrince radio station on Sunday that will be available to free and premium subscribers." -- But some of Prince's music is already on iHeart Radio. I just listened to "She's Always in My Hair" (and it's not Sunday yet here in Philadelphia) on the Prince & The Revolution channel. A number of months ago, I would listen to the Prince channels on the iHeartRadio app. (Then I got rid of the app because I needed more space on my phone.) But the article suggests that Prince's music has not been on iHeartRadio at all, and that simply isn't true. I'm a bit confused why my experience seems to contradict what the article is saying about Prince's music's availability on iHeartRadio. Does anyone have an explanation?

I need one service that will carry ALL of his albums I asked Prince what he was planning to do. He told me , I'm going to look for the ladder. I asked him what that meant. All he said was, sometimes it snows in April. - book D.M.S.R.

Nothing coming up on my Spotify in the U.K. For prince other than state. What time is it meant to be available from it it actually during the Grammys?

I have my own PLEX server with my own private Prince collection. Over 40 albums worth of music that I painstakingly catalogued with descriptions and artwork . I can stream my collection from it on my phone so no need for Spotify or TIDAL for me
I did offer to share my collection to others so they could stream it too but had my thread taken down. [Edited 2/12/17 4:21am]

No clue. But iHeart isn't on demand is it? Meaning, you can't play whatever Prince song you want whenever you want, right? That's what real streaming services will bring. Paisley Park is in your heart

Admittedly I'm not in the U.S but those are other albums are gone for me too but Kamasutra is still there. It doesn't come up under Prince though. It's under NPG orchestra so it's hard to find. Yes I've updated my Spotify lists and curiously, my older lists before he left Spotify automatically remembered the tracks I had. I don't know how that works but my lists were back to before he left without any effort on my part. The curious thing for me is Lovesexy. It keeps it as one continuous track, so in which case I went to the compilation albums and got my Alphabet St that way. Also, some of the compilations are where the extended versions are. Anyway thank goodness it's back.
