LBrent, where does the word "offal" come from? It's almost the same as the Dutch word "afval", which also means garbage. Just wondering...

Probably comes from Middle English cuz it's from slavery times and...Erm...Well, y'all know the history of slavery in the US begins with the original slaves being Irish and British indentured servants, sooo...

confused

ETA: Yup

http://www.dictionary.com/browse/offal

Wow.... confused

It's not the agreeing part...sorta...it's the awkwardness regarding the beginning of your reply.

Think of it this way, I'm arguing that I love my "ugly baby". You just agreed with me that I have a right to...love my ugly baby.

Nice to be agreed with, not nice that you agree my baby's ugly...and you have the power to validate me for loving my baby, ugly or not.

See? confused

BTW, none of my actual children are ugly...although my middle son got his feet from his father, sooo...But he's a gorgeous kid regardless.

lol

Prince used it on his piano outtake of 17 Days. "The main drag is knowing that
You're holding that other ni--a tight."

There's also those prank phone calls from the Cream maxi single. "Ni--a, what's wrong with you?"

There's no doubt without the record label censorship of the 80s, Prince would've used language that would've made today's rappers blush. So he found a more creative way to get his dirty talk in.

Fair enough.

Sorry, but I think you misinterpreted my admitted awkward opening.
I simply intended to preface my comment with the realization that my opinion of the topic is irrelevent based on the facts of my own experience.
I understand the misinterpretation because I agree it was awkwardly stated.
For that matter, I'm not too sure how I'm doing explaining myself here either. lol
Regardless. I wholeheartedly agree with your post above with awareness that my validation is neither requested or required.
Cool? cool

SpinsterSister

It doesn't bother me. His music, his expression.....I am not the P C police. If somebody doesn't like "it" then that person can turn it off or not buy it.

Need me some fuzzy love....and yes, I wear clear heels
