More than I probably should have

I've been rebuilding my collection for the third time since being robbed twice So I have actually bought a good number of CDs but nothing hard to find so far - started with the more affordable ones The ones I still am hoping to purchase AGAIN are Gold Experience, Black Album, Emancipation and The Hits & BSides Collection. There is still a lot I still need to purchase and high on the list aside from those 4 is the ONA Live box set.

I bought Steve Parke fundraiser Paisley Park Is In Our Heart purple shirt, a mug and two stickers.

Plus a lot of shirts as others have said but the two most recent ones, I really love them, are the 2010 long sleeve and Coachella blue/black long sleeve! They are GORGEOUS ....too nice to wear I think

AND I bought these Marquee signs - light up letters that spell Prince. Can't decide if they are okay along the top of the shelf or should be on the wall

The Jason Draper re-release book, and the other hard cover...life and times portrait? Forget the author at the moment.

Plus the magazines.

And the list goes on...

I bought Jason Draper´s book, Chapter and Verse from Mobeen Azhar, a few tribute magazines and a necklace with a guitar pick with his symbol carved.

It craps all over the CD, don't it?

No official merchandise, but I had a few t-shirts made w/ his pics on them. The Purple Rain era pic w/ him holding a flower, another 1 from that era w/ him w/ a guitar making his face n the SOTT 1 w/ him w/ his tongue out (I don't feel like typing "with", me). They all came out either wonky (the SOTT 1 is half the pic thanks to yahoo n our ignorance), or faded: the guitar 1 came from a weak photo n the flower 1 was washed (inside out, yes I know ) n he has a spot or something under his eye . I'll still rock them again w/ pride 1 o these days n have gotten compliments from them already . Still thinking of getting a Parade era 1, debating. Probably still won't get 4Ever. My next Prince cd purchase undoubtedly will b the P.R. Deluxe thing

Got a stereo of Christmas..buying vinyl..Purple Rain, For You, Lotus Flower, Sign o Times, bought 4 12" singles of If I was your girlfriend, Cream, Kiss, U Got the Look. Sounds so good y'all..So much to buy..so little money!

Got lucky and won a copy of the Gold Experience.

For a fair-ish price, considering how expensive it has been. I'd set an ideal price in my head about six months ago, thinking it would come down. It hasn't, but someone was selling on e-Bay, and I took the plunge. It arrived, and appears to be 100% bonafide (NPG copyright moulded in the clear case, proper metadata and high quality art on the CDs).

(And since I just taught a class on Prince, I can write it off!)

I love salish winds! I've bought so much from them within the past few months.

Lately I've bought mostly clothing. I think the last item was a shirt that had a list of his alias' (Joey Coco, Camille, etc), and another that had the lyrics to Mountains. Also a tee from PP.

I bought so much P music from Tidal, JayZ should send me a gift basket. Lol. Not just the NPGMC releases, but even some of the traditional albums that are out of print and I no longer had my copy of. And the FLAC versions no less.

I bought Chocolate Invasion from Tidal about 4 months ago and loved it so much I bought Slaughterhouse. I too buy stuff off Tidal..One Nite Alone live, One Nite Alone..it aint over, 3121. Art Official Age. I'd love to have the CD's or Vinyl of some of these treasures but can't find it at a reasonable price, So I'll buy off Tidal for now. Have to say..Tidal has a good Prince selection. I'm so glad I bought some of it before all the trouble started. Cuz a lot of it's gone.
