So I was in Barns & Nobles the other day and there was Raspberry Beret/She's Always In My Hair 12" $12.00. Couldn't think about whether or not I would find a cheaper price somewhere else. I was shocked 2 C this. I did not know singles were going 2 B re issued...

OMG talk about great news. I soooo hope they all and the associate artists albums will be reissued.
I happend upon metal haning frames made for vinyl albums. Bought a bunch.

we've been asking and asking for a mod to re sticky the albums reissued thread that already had great information and discussion but got drowned out...

2016 saw one of Prince's singles re-released for a THIRD time amd another single released in the UK for the very first time.

I don't generally buy singles seperately. Also, I don't buy vinyl, I buy CDs, and it sounds like the singles are being released on vinyl.

Back in the day i bought the singles for the b-side none album cuts and of course all the 12 inch versions.

I was at a B&N yesterday in Seattle and saw 6 or so Prince vinyl records: Purple Rain, Parade, ATWIAD, Let's Pretend We're Married, and a couple other singles.

5 albums were re-issued in 2016.

2 albums are supposed to be released tomorrow, but I think they may be pushed to January.

4 more 12inch singles are due in January and 2 more so far in February.

But I suppose time will tell as the schedule is forever changing

I just picked up the 12" of Kiss & Love or Money

I picked all these up back in the 80's as 'US imports'. I rarely bought his UK 12" inch singles in the 80s. I liked having the import stickers on them and proper spines with artist and song titles. Not something the UK did, the sleeves here were slim as could be with no credits down the side. I was a bit of a nerd even back then it seems.

yeah I had ALL of them back then. A bunch of mine were stolen by a Prince (Sir Casey Terry) looking wanna be back in 88

$12.00 for a 12 inch single? No thanks...I still have all of mine from the 80s
